Powerstroke Diesel

The Beginning Of The Legend

● In 1988 Ford came out with its first 7.3L Diesel, The

Legendary 7.3 was born. It was a non turbo IDI. This

Diesel ran until 1993.

● In 1994 The 7.3L was back again this time reborn with

new life. For the first time it now came with a

wastegated Turbocharger, and Direct injection (DI). It

was Ranked top ten diesel engines in the Diesel power

magazine. It put the name out for Powerstroke and to

this day is a very desirable engine.

7.3 Power!

The 7.3L displacement was 444 cubic

inches of turbo charged power also

sporting an intercooler in 99 and newer

models and now direct injection it weighed

920 lbs dry. its peak horsepower was only

275 at 2,800rpm but when it came to

torque it came with a boasting

525 lb-ft at 1,600rpm.

● The Dodge brothers worked for Henry Ford before

in 2011. ○ Pandora made a station for chevrolet’s 100th

anniversary.

Pagani Huayra

Overview

● Pronounced wai-rah, the Huayra is an Italian mid-

engined hypercar designed by Horacio Pagani and

assembled in Modena, Italia.

● Can be purchased in the United States for $1.3

million.

● Named after Huayra-tata, which translates to God

of the Winds in Quechua, the official language of

the Inca Empire.

Statistics

● The Huayra is a two door berlinetta style sports car

with a rear mid engine and is rear wheel drive.

● It has a Mercedes-AMG bi-turbo M158 5980 cc V12

engine with a 7-speed sequential transmission.

● Its engine produces 720 bhp and 740 lb-ft of torque

and is capable of a top speed of 231 mph.

Official Debut

● The Huayra was officially debuted online with many

pictures on January, 25, 2011.

○ The official world debut was at the Geneva Auto

Salon 2011 in March.

○ The Huayra also has been featured in a few

video games such as NFS: Shift 2 Unleashed,

NFS: The Run, NFS: Most Wanted, Forza

Motorsport 4 and many others.
