Project Objectives

• To determine the feasibility of establishing total reward statements, initially in pilot Boroughs, then across participating boroughs.

• To design and develop a template total reward statement for employee self-service

• To trial the template across interested boroughs• To successfully market the concept of total reward to

employees throughout participating boroughs • To evaluate the impact of the statements on employee

morale and engagement and organisational culture

Current thinking

• Only cost what’s truly ‘costable’

• Keep it simple and jargon free

• Use the opportunity to sell existing benefits – e.g. pension scheme

• Get across the message that these are ‘benefits’, not ‘entitlements’

• How do we develop something that all different operating systems can access?

• How do we handle staff who don’t have regular pc access?

• How do we manage our differing ‘offers’?

• Who is this available to?
