About PHEPHE Pty Ltd (PHE) provides electrical and instrumentation operations support services to clients

throughout Australia including mining, hydro power generation, remote gas power generation plants,

pulp and paper manufacturing and timber processing industries.

Established in 1975, PHE has over 40 years of experience and expertise in the Installation

and termination of High Voltage, Low Voltage and communication installations.

We also design and construct Low Voltage distribution and motor control switchboards and provide

SCADA, PLC and DCS integration.

Mining

LV Cable Installations

All site cable supply and associated cable support and PVC conduit systems including cable pits

and underground cable ducts.

Instrumentation

PHE provides the installation, calibration, and loop testing of all instrumentation including air,

pressure, flow, level, temperature and analysers.

Distribution Switchboards

From our manufacturing facility in Gympie, PHE designs and manufactures fully type tested power

distribution switchboards up to 7000A with a 120kA rating. These Form 4b switchboards fully

comply with AS/NZ 3439.1 standard.

Motor Control Switchboards

Form 1 through to Form 4b Motor Control Switchboards can be designed and manufactured to the

individual requirements of our customers. We also manufacture all type of control panels,

marshalling boxes, local control stations, PLC panels and control desks etc.

HV Cable Installations

PHE provides the supply and termination of HV cabling up to 33kV including the supply and instal-

lation of transformers, and ring main units.

guide to demonstrate our commitment to health and safety is the regular achievement of zero Lost Time Injury (LTI)

rate. This is due to our fully trained staff along with regular safety audits and daily risk assessments. PHE provides

continual training in the use of equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) along with continual improvement

to procedures to minimise potential incidents.

Our people and their safety are our primary responsibility and every effort is made to provide a safe working

Carrapateena is a copper-gold underground mine located in the highly prospective Gawler Craton in South Australia approximately 160km north of Port Augusta. The project is located on Pernatty Station and its supporting infrastructure is located within Oakden Hills Station and features a sub-level cave mine with a production rate of 4.3mtpa of ore. Ore will be transported to the surface via an inclined conveyor.

Phase1 of the project includes the installation of the CS1 Crushing Station and associated inclined conveying system to surface.

In addition to the materials handling system, supporting infrastructure is required, including dewatering, services, ventilation, 11kV power distribution and communication systems.

Our team of project managers, supervisors, HSEQ team, schedulers, leading hands and electricians have been the key to delivering a safe, on time and quality project to our customer.

The project was delivered with a zero LTI rate.

Power Generation - Agnew Power Station

The Agnew Gold Mine is located in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, 23 kilometres west of Leinster, 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie and 1,000 kilometres north-east of Perth.

Cummins South Pacific contracted PHE to construct and commission a 16MW hybrid gas and renewable energy fuelled power facility to supply electricity to Gold Fields mine.

8 of Cummins model C2000N5C 11kV as generating units in acoustic enclosures and complete with 24VDC electric start, enclosure ventilation fans and remote radiators.

2 of Cummins model C2250D5 Black-Start 11kV 1.8MW Diesel Generators.

Mining - T3 Hydrofloat

E&I Subcontract for the supply and installtion of HV & LV services at the Cadia mine via Orange in NSW.

Constuction of Cross Flow Classifiers, Concentrate Screen & HydroFloat separators, Cyclone Cluster, Davit Crane and associated hoppers, pumps, pipework in the new T3 HydroFloat building.Supply and installtion of instrumentation, cable support systems, installation of general light and power, fibre optic systems, Stage 1 and 2 commissioning, and Stage 3 commissioning support.

Snowy Hydro - Tumut2 Modernisation

PHE received a Certificate of Commendation for the T2 Modernisation Project in the 2015 NECA Excellence Awards for the category of Industrial Projects under $2M.

Upgrade of the T2 Transformer and Line Protection equipment. Demolition works of existing electrical services and the design and construction of cable support systems, LV cable installation, installation of control panels and terminations.

Snowy Hydro Limited embarked on a substantial modernisation project to maximise the value of the Snowy Scheme hydro-generation assets.

Modernisation of the Snowy Scheme Power Stations has introduced advanced controls and protection systems technology to the Tumut 2 Power Station. Ageing and high maintenance plant components such as circuit breakers, relays and other control antiquated systems were replaced with modern components and automation platforms.

PHE continues to work closely with Snowy Hydro Limited with all modernisation projects.
