Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Mahoning County Educational Service Center Governing Board held Thursday, June 30, 2016, 4:30 p.m. at 7300 N. Palmyra Rd., Canfield, OH The meeting was called to order by the President, Atty. Kathi McNabb Welsh, at 4:30 p.m. Atty. Welsh led the Pledge to the Flag. This was followed by a moment of silence. On roll call the following members were present: Marie Dockry, James Hall, Richard S. Scarsella and Kathi McNabb Welsh. Also in attendance: Ron Iarussi, Superintendent; Blaise Karlovic, Treasurer; Karen Sciortino, Deputy Treasurer; Cheryl McArthur, HR/Business Operations; Doug Hiscox, Assistant Superintendent. Mahoning County Educational Service Center Governing Board held

The meeting was called to order by the President, Atty. Kathi McNabb Welsh, at 4:30 p.m.

Atty. Welsh led the Pledge to the Flag. This was followed by a moment of silence.

On roll call the following members were present: Marie Dockry, James Hall, Richard S.

Scarsella and Kathi McNabb Welsh. Also in attendance: Ron Iarussi, Superintendent;

Blaise Karlovic, Treasurer; Karen Sciortino, Deputy Treasurer; Cheryl McArthur,

HR/Business Operations; Doug Hiscox, Assistant Superintendent.

A motion was made by Mrs. Dockry, seconded by Mr. Scarsella to approve the agenda.

On roll call the vote was as follows: Mrs. Dockry, yea; Mr. Hall, yea; Mr. Scarsella, yea;

Atty. Welsh, yea. The President declared the motion carried.

Atty. Engler arrived at 4:34 p.m.

Kent State University School Psychology Program for the 2016 - 2017

school year.

13. Approve Agreement between Mahoning County Educational Service

Center and Lockwood United Methodist Church to provide classroom

space for preschool classrooms from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.

14. Approve Agreement between Mahoning County Educational Service

Center and Marion City Schools to approve agreement to provide a

Simulated Workplace Instructional Coach for the 2016-2017 school year.

15. Approve Agreement between Mahoning County Educational Service

Center and Marlington Local School District for the MCESC to provide

31. Approve Membership renewal for The Ohio Coalition for Equity &

Adequacy.

32. Approve Agreement between Mahoning County Educational Service

Center and United Local School District for the MCESC to provide

teaching and learning and e-learning services for the 2016 - 2017 school

year.

Center and Valley Christian Schools for the MCESC to provide e-

learning services for the 2016 - 2017 school year.

34. Approve Agreement between Mahoning County Educational Service

Center and Warren City Schools for the MCESC to provide e-learning

35. Approve Agreement between Mahoning County Educational Service

Center and Wills Mobility and Vision Services, LLC to provide up to 25

hours per week of direct service for OM and VI at $85 per hour and up to

8 hours per week of planning and documentation at $45 per hour or the

2016 - 2017 school year.

36. Approve Agreement between Mahoning County Educational Service

Center and Wright Specialty to provide liability insurance for the

period July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.

37. Approve Agreement between Mahoning County Educational Service

Center and Youngstown State University for an intern (Nicole Cicozi) of

the YSU School Psychology Program for the 2016-2017 school year.

Center and Cocca Development to approve renewal of the third

amendment of the lease from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.

Approve termination of the fourth amendment of the lease between

Mahoning County Educational Service Center and Cocca Development

effective July 1, 2016.
