Hello!
Are you a poet?
Or a musician? Or a talker?
A comedian, a language teacher, or painter?
Are you all of the above or somewhere in between and in search of
a place to show, test, or share your skills and knowledge?
Then Ziferblat might just be that place.
Located right in the heart of Shoreditch, on the corner of Old
Street, Ziferblat is a cosy little get-away, a home away from home,
where everyone who visits becomes a part of its history and its
future.
Somewhere between a living room, a tree house and an office,
Ziferblat is a place where artists, dreamers and innovators come to
share ideas, build relationships and shape the environment around
them.
Ziferblat and its team of 7 creatives are looking for beautiful
humans to bring the space to life in new and imaginative ways, to
make our space buzz with words, laughter and images. We want
you to use it as your play – and test-ground, the place where you
might talk in front of an audience for the first time, or maybe for
the 100th.
INSPIRATION:
We would like to hear from you, whether your idea is a one-off
event or something that might end up repeating week after week.
To give you a few ideas of events that we’ve had in the past here’s a
little list:
Photography and fine art exhibitions
Meet-up groups
Poetry Nights
Live music performance
Interactive performance
Language Classes
Art Classes
All kinds of talks
Chess and Board game clubs
Ping Pong Tournaments
Scratches
THE NITTY GRITTY:
We don’t charge anything for venue hire, just a percentage of the
ticket sales, all of which go back into making the space a better and
more exciting place to be.
The space is ---X--- and has a capacity of 45 seated or 100
standing.
We have several tables and mismatched antique chairs, all of which
can be rearranged to fit your event.
Ziferblat provides use of a projector, a printer, a record player, a
piano and a shared kitchen with free tea, coffee and snacks for all
of its guests.
Ziferblat will also provide some marketing and creative support to
help turn your idea into a success.
We are open between 12pm and 11pm.
(Please note that our venue has a no alcohol policy)
WHAT YOU GOTTA DO:
If you have an idea of something you’d like to do here – then send

line: IDEA TO SHARE.
Include a short description of your idea/ project, the nature of your
event, and your contact details, and we will get back to you shortly
to arrange a meeting.
(Ziferblat is a pay-per-minute social co-working space. Guests pay 5 pence per
minute, which works out at £3 per hour, and everything else inside the space
is FREE! For events we work with artists and organisers on an individual basis
to figure out what the right ticket price is for their event. Ticket sales are split
60% to Ziferblat and 40% to the organiser after expenses.)
