Newsletter Summer Fun Day Thank you so much to everyone who came along and supported the Summer Fun Day last Saturday. The weather was good and hopefully all of the children enjoyed themselves! We managed to raise just over £1,300, which is fantastic. It's a massive undertaking to put on such a large scale event and we really need all the help we can get. A very big thank you to the many volunteers who generously gave up their time to ensure that this day went as smoothly as possible. A special thank you to all of the SMSA committee members and the other parent volunteers who put in the extra hours setting up and then clearing away afterwards. These events would not go ahead if it weren't for you, so thank you!

Easyfundraising: To date we have raised over £4,200.00 for free when shopping online with a total of 110 members. If you haven't done so already, please can I ask you to take a moment to go onto the above website, search for St Michael's School Association Leigh-on-Sea and register to start raising funds for free for the SMSA. Thank you!

And finally.... We can't believe where the time has gone, this year seems to have flown by. We would like to wish everyone a very happy and fun summer!

Further Information...

The SMSA committee is an organisation comprising all parents, along with staff and "friends of St Michael's" who arrange a number of social and fund-raising events for the school. The main aim of the SMSA is to raise funds for the school so special items can be purchased that would not normally be covered by the school budget. We also aim to provide opportunities for all to have lots of fun at these events. The SMSA committee is comprised of up to 25 members including parent representatives for each year group, the Head and Deputy Head, a member of staff, a governor, a past pupil of St Michael's and a "friend of St Michael's".
