at the Board.

– Committees are appointed in the fall of each year.

– To volunteer, contact Andy Clark at CABR at [email protected].

– Committees make motions and recommendations to the Board of Directors for actions or services impacting the membership.

State & National AssociationsState & National AssociationsBeing a member with CABR automatically

gains you membership in the Ohio Association of Realtors® with 30,000

members and the National Association of Realtors® with over 1 million members

worldwide. You will have the opportunity to get involved with state and national

committees too!

To Complete Membership To Complete Membership ProcessProcess• Follow the instructions below:

– The next screen contains the membership application. – You must complete fully and submit your agreement. – Without completing and submitting we will have no

record that you completed the orientation program.

Your REALTOR® Membership Your REALTOR® Membership BeginsBegins

– You will complete a REALTOR® Application by clicking the red box at the bottom of the page.

– Dues & Fees Overview:– You will receive an invoice within 14 days of the completion

of the online orientation application. –Prorated dues (calculated from the month following your license date or transfer) –Admission fee - $175 ($50 discount if membership requirements are met within 90 days of license date)

Again, you will receive confirmation of your orientation completion along with your invoice within 14 business days via email with payment instructions.

RememberRemember• To maintain your membership you must also take

the NAR 2.5 hour mandatory Code of Ethics course within one year of join date.

• To fully complete the CABR membership process, you must complete Creating Added Benefits for REALTORS Orientation program within 6 months of your join date.

– Payment of application fee and dues (emailed invoice)– Approval by the Board of Directors– Completion of the required 1.5 hour Creating Added Benefits for

REALTORS Orientation class within 6 months of joining.

Shortly after approval, you will begin to receive all the benefits and services available to you through CABR, OAR, and NAR.
