To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Academy Awards, The Big Weekend on C Music TV

returns on 3rd and 4th March.

Exploring the world’s best film scores and their composers, The Big Weekend will enlighten

viewers on the many facets of music in the movies.

With a wealth of exclusive soundtrack music-videos from all the major nomination categories,

The Big Weekend will also delve behind the scenes of some of this year’s best films including

The Post, Dunkirk, Lady Bird, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and more.

Nominations for Best Original Score include Dunkirk (Hans Zimmer), Phantom Thread (Jonny

Greenwood), The Shape of Water (Alexandre Desplat), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (John Williams)

and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (Carter Burwell).

Additional program notes will include a series of informative composer promos and an

abundance of film and Oscar facts.
