Recommendation #1

Teachers/staff members should be given thorough training on what constitutes to be child abuse.

Page 13: By: Mary Jenny Dominguez Misty Dominguez Uriel Guerra

Recommendation #2

Teachers/staff members should not have to notify management when they are reporting a suspected child abuse case. The law states that the person making the report may remain anonymous.

Page 14: By: Mary Jenny Dominguez Misty Dominguez Uriel Guerra

Recommendation #3

Flying Colors should adapt NACCRA’s recommendations as this would further increase the standards in place. For example instead of placing staff immediately in the classroom they should at least receive the minimum of 40 hours of training.
