The first Ford car was built in Henry Ford’s workshop. It was built in 1896 and was just the start of his business.

This is where Ford’s business started. The first Ford cars were built here, and it provided jobs for many people. It was

made in 1903.

The Mack Avenue Plant when it was just made.

This car came out in 1903. It was the first Ford car

that was being sold. Many people

wanted this car, and it was affordable and many people had it. It could

reach up to 30 miles per hour.

The

Model B

This car came

out in 1905.

This car did

not sell very

well because it

was very

expensive.

Not many

people could

afford this car,

and it was not

popular.

This car was similar to the Model A. It had a 10 horse power engine and could hold twice as many people as the Model A. It came out in 1905.

This car weighed 2,400 pounds which weighed a lot compared to other models . This car was pretty fast for a car in 1906. It could go up to 60 miles

per hour.

Model NThis car was a big

success. It was a

small car but it

was fast. It was

priced at five

hundred dollars.

It was cheap and

many people

could afford it.

Since it was a

success Henry

Ford made similar

models, like the

Model R and

Model S.

This was a very popular car. It was low priced and many of them were built. Everyone wanted one! Henry Ford sold 15 million Model Ts! This car was made using an assembly line. It gave many people jobs because more people were needed to build the car.

This car was named after the Model A. It was the second Model A. This car had safety glass windows, and it was the first Ford car that used a key to start. People thought of it as a modern car.

The cars allowed families to travel to the city to shop and for entertainment. It also allowed people to have jobs farther away from their houses.

Henry Ford’s first car did not have any brakes.

The first parking meters were in Oklahoma City in 1935.

In 1903 Massachusetts and West Virginia gave out license plates.

Henry Ford grew up on a farm.
