BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER (PENTAHO)

Business intelligence developer (Pentaho) at the Baader Computer is a role to support current team developing business intelligence application in the area of compounding industry (polymers). This job

is an opportunity to contribute on interesting management information system application as well as influence the solution design and enhance the system.

Key Functions & Roles of the Candidate:

As the Pentaho developer you will be responsible to analyze, design and implement business

intelligence technical and operational solutions as well as maintain and enhance current functionality. This role will:

Analyze and design new BI solutions – full-stack development:

Design, implement and maintain data warehouse (Postgres)

Design and implement ETL (PDI)

Design and implement metadata layer (Mondrian, Pentaho Metadata)

Design and implement Pentaho reports (Pentaho Report Designer)

Collaborate with solution architect and domain experts to achieve results and leverage the

application using Pentaho BA capabilities

Install, configure and maintain Pentaho BA servers

Specific Skill Set: Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills to manage complex process

and Pentaho technology issues.

Good knowledge of SQL languages: Postgres, MS SQL

Demonstrate experience with Pentaho BA suite is an advantage

Knowledge of Pentaho ETL and Mondrian is an advantage

Knowledge of CDF, CDA and CDE is a plus

Minimum Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in the field of information technology, or equivalent.

Language:

Spoken and written English: ability to draw-up technical specifications; as well as the ability to understand and speak in professional contexts.
