EA Knowledge Digest Project Overview• Purpose: Store and relate knowledge items pertinent to

enterprise architecture in a common repository • Project Management: Led by a|EA’s EA Standards

Committee• Objectives:

– Capture the wisdom and business practice relating to EA field– Establish central EA knowledge repository– Build, manage and expand an EA knowledgebase

• Target Timeline for the EA Knowledge Digest: FY2006



Rationale for EA Knowledge Digest Project • Currently, there is no EA repository to obtain information regarding

EA concepts, theories, approaches, and best practices. • Use repository to capture the wisdom and best practice in the EA field

and other related fields to support our EA work. Answer the following questions:– What are the principles and approaches to transform business

architecture?– What are the best practices to examine improvement

opportunities through the insertion of new technology?– How do I implement a successful EA program within my

organization? • The EA Knowledge Digest seeks to reduce

complexity, and provide assistance with stable referenced sources.
