    Life is Suffering

    Why?Many think that youth,

    health and wealth are

    important.But, eventually, old age,

    sickness, and finally death

    will catch up with all of us. It is fear of these that makes

    us unhappy, that is, causes

    us to suffer.

    The Japanese word Zen is derived from the

    Chinese word Chn, which in turn is

    derived from the Sanskrit word dhyana,
