A CANDIDATE IS ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE FOR THE MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP IF SHE PASSES THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION AND IS OF APPROXIMATELY GRADE 4/5 STANDARD OR ABOVE ON HER MAIN INSTRUMENT

The audition takes approximately 20 minutes and candidates will be asked to play two contrasting pieces on her main instrument with another piece on a second instrument if desired. There will be a simple aural test and each candidate will be asked about her musical interests. Please complete both pages of this form and return them with a copy of each piece of music to be performed and also a Reference from the Instrumental Teacher of the first study instrument. Please also include copies of all piano accompaniments. I would like to use the school accompanist.
