ThisisateamcompetitionforBritishRidingClubMembers.

ThecompetitionwillrununderBritishRidingClubShowJumpingRules2018.Teamscanconsistofthreeorfourmembers.Oneriderperclass.Eachclasswillbesinglephaseoveracourseofshowjumps.Thesecondsectionofthecoursewillbetimedandwillbe5cmshigherthantheclassheight(ie:75cms,85cms,95cmsand105cmsmax)excepttheJokerorfinalfence,whichwillbe5cms-10cmsabovetheclassheight(ie:80cm,90cm,1m&1.10m).ThefinalfencewillbeachoicebetweenaJokerfenceandafinalshowjumpingfence.Theregularfinalfencewillincurstandardshowjumpingpenalties.However,iftheJokerisjumpedclear,5secondswillbedeductedfromtheriderstimescore,buttheJokerwillincurincreasedpenalties.Seetablebelow:Knockingdownanypartofanobstacleincludingwing&finalfence(notjoker) 4PenaltiesFirstdisobedienceonthewholecourseexcludingJoker 4PenaltiesSeconddisobedienceonthewholecourseexcludingJoker 8PenaltiesThirddisobedienceonthewholecourse EliminationFallofRider EliminationFallofHorse EliminationKnockingdownanypartoftheJokerincludingwing 8PenaltiesFirstdisobedienceatJoker 8PenaltiesSeconddisobedienceatJoker 16PenaltiesThirddisobedienceatJoker EliminationThewinningteamwillbetheteamwiththelowestpenaltiesscoredovertheteamsbestthreerounds.Intheeventofequalityofjumpingfaultstheteamwiththelowestteamtimescoreoverthebestthreeroundswillwin.Intheeventofateamtimescoretie,thelowesttimescoreforthe1mclasswillbetaken.Ifthedropscoreisthe1mround,thethirdrider’stimescorewillbeused.

2. RidingClubMembershipNumbersmustbecompletedontheEntry&DeclarationForms3. Intheteam,RideronetojumpClass1(70cms),RidertwotojumpClass2(80cms),Riderthreetojump

Class3(90cms)andRiderfourtojumpClass4(1m).4. Iftheteamconsistsofthreemembersonly,theremustbearidercompetingindifferentheightclasses.5. AcombinationofHorseandRidercanonlycompeteonce.Theridercancompeteasecondtimein

anotherteamonadifferenthorse.Horsesmayonlycompeteonce.6. Classestobedrawnorderbutlocalclubstogofirst.7. IndividualRosetteswillbeawardedattheendofeachclassonthepodiumbytheBar.

TeamrosettesandprizesandoverallwinningteamsasheswillbeawardedfollowingClass4prizegiving.

8. ProtestsorobjectionsmustbemadebytheTeamManagertotheSecretary,notlaterthan30minutesafterthehappeningor15minutesafterthescoreshavebeenpublished.Objections/protestsmustbeaccompaniedbya£25fee.

10. Allhorsesandponiesmustbeoverfouryearsofageandcurrentvaccinationsuptodate.Passportsshouldbemadeavailableifrequested;wereservetherighttocarryoutspotchecksofpassportsontheday.

11. TheJudge’sdecisionisfinal.TheJudgereservestherighttodisqualifyanyrideratanystageofthecompetitionfordangerousriding,inappropriatebehaviour,misuseofwhiporspurs,illtreatmentofthehorseorifintheiropinionthehorseislame,sickorexhausted.

12. TheOrganisersoftheRockinghamInternationalHorseTrialsreservetherighttomakeanychangesand/oramendmentstothecompetitionand/orrules.

13. ParamedicsandaVetwillbeinattendance.OtherNoticesEstateRules:
