Lawn Bowls.
This game has its origin in the ancient Egyptian, usually
played with stone bowls due to the circumstances of that era. By the
thirteenth century, the game was developed all around Europe,
mostly in England which became very popular even to a point where
the French were prohibited to play it due to political issues taking
place between the two countries in that moment.
Lawn Bowls is an outdoor game played on grass consisting on
throwing bowls as if you were bowling (rolling aiming at The !ack. "t
can be played as an individual or in groups.
There are two main balls in Lawn Bowls# The !ack and the
bowls. The !ack is the small white ball thrown by a player at the
beginning of the game, becoming the target that all players need to
aim to. The bowl looks like a baseball. "t has one side with a smaller
circle and another with a bigger circle, pointing out the heavier side
of the bowl since one side is lighter that another making it travel a
curved path. "ts perfect si$e is when the player is able to hold it with
one single hand.
The scoring is simple as the winner is the one with the biggest
