Manage the full production process including component repair, machine shop, test room, paint shop, and direct customer service. Oversee and analyze production flow to ensure components efficiently move through the system and trouble shoot issues or problems to ensure cost- effective and timely delivery of repaired units. Supervise and train technicians in the disassembly and assembly, work scope and repair quote development, inspection, and testing. Develop and document customized and general repair procedures. All phases must meet regulatory and manufacture specifications. As a Journeyman Technician, when workloads increased utilization of this technical skill was implemented immediately to alleviate delays in component delivery. Travel both foreign and domestic to develop new and existing business relationships with a variety of airline companies. Work with customers directly to finalize repair contracts for long-term business and introduce/market new capabilities of the company. Use innovated approaches to design specialized repairs on components that the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is unable to perform, which develops new business and saves customers money. These components include Integrated Drive Generators, Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Generator, Ignition Exciters, Vacuum Toilet assembly and Generator Control Units. Provide direct customer service to identify component failures, test results, repair needs, pricing, turnaround times, and capabilities. Contact customers to ensure performance of component and assess any necessary follow up. Designed and developed the infrastructure to support a new product line including the development of technical and organizational needs. Technical documents include tooling specifications, and disassembly, assembly, inspection and testing procedures for highly specialized transmissions. All documentation required compliance with regulatory and manufacture specifications. Organizational designed and identification of technicians needed to support business volume.
