2011 Breeder’s Choice Auction 3

Financing options available at the2011 Breeder’s Choice Auction

We all know that now is an incredible time to add the highest quality alpacas and the best genetics to your herd. We are offering two financing options to make it even easier!

Option # 1 This is our Standard Financing. If you think, as many pundits seem to, that interest rates will

stay low for quite some time and you plan on using the full term, this may be your best option:

• 25% down • 1% Over Prime adjusted quarterly (as of July 2011, prime+1 is just 4.25%!!!) • 4 years (48 monthly payments)

Option # 2 Special 2011 Breeder’s Choice Auction Financing. If there is a possibility that you may be

able to pay off the financing within the first year, or if you believe that interest rates will soon begin to increase, or if spreading it over 60 months makes more sense to you, then this is your best option:

• 25% down • 6% fixed • 5 Years (60 monthly payments) • If paid in full by October 1, 2012 all interest paid to date will be credited to principal

From white to black, including grey and everything in-between, the 2011 Breeder’s Choice Auction has an incredible lineup of top quality, and the most cherished genetics -- and on top of it all, we’re offering the most attractive financing options yet!

How about something a little different this year... although I am not sure I can top last year’s stage gyrations of “Mikey O” when he offered his “personal handyman special”, I would like to offer my services for your farm. For Lot A, I will travel to your farm and present a seminar of your choice. Make an on-farm event out of the seminar of whatever size you wish! It would be wise to choose a topic that I am familiar with, and we can discuss this when you win the bid. I have done seminars on “Alpaca Partnerships”, “Alpaca Selection Tactics”, “Breeding for Improved Fleece”, as well as some other 101 level seminars such as “The How and Why of Investing In Alpacas”.While at your farm, I would be happy to go through any part or all of your herd with you, and offer my consultation or answer any questions that you might have - from breeding decisions to quality levels and more!As an added bonus, on the evening of the seminar I would also be happy to do a wine-tasting seminar with any of your participants who choose to stay. The wine would be supplied by you, with collaboration, and many find this an enjoyable way to cap-off a day of intensive seminar learning.I will bring the computer, the lecture, and the handouts. If your farm is over 400 miles away, you’ll supply transportation. The timing of the seminar would be on a mutually agreed upon date so that it is of maximum benefit for your farm. I can’t wait to see you and good luck on the bidding!

Meeting of the MindsName: MFI Peruvian Meeting of the Minds DOB: 03/25/2010Sire: My Peruvian Frontrunner BeigeDam: MFI Peruvian Mabelina ARI# 32095852

If you are looking for a very top-of-the-line foundation female, we are confident MFI Peruvian Meeting of the Minds is a female you will want to seriously consider for your breeding program! Her fleece is beige, with high-frequency, high-amplitude crimp, excellent density and she sports a beautiful phenotype. To create this beauty, we bred MFI Peruvian Mabelina, the daughter of 6Peruvan Accoyo Titan, to Peruvian Frontrunner, son of Peruvian Rolex (lot 46). With the Hemingway line well- represented through multiple champion female MFI Peruvian Fenja, and a similar style fleece of DPF Margo, daughter of Accoyo PPeruvian Timoteo, the combination worked and MFI Peruvian Meeting of the Minds became the result of a merging of these outstanding genetics. If we were to keep MFI Peruvian Meeting of the Minds, we would breed her for a high-end fawn and our selection of a herdsire would match this thought process. Regardless, MFI Peruvian Meeting of the Minds sells with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted Magical Farms herdsire of buyer’s choice and with full Magical Farms guarantees. Her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

MaziyaName: LMFI & MFI Peruvian Maziya DOB: 06/26/2010Sire: Jeronimo S282 Medium FawnDam: LMFI Peruvian Mazzorra ARI# 32166538

If you are looking for a female that the judges would call the “total package,” here’s a stunning girl for your list. She has the phenotype, fleece and pedigree we look for in a foundation female. Doing a little research, you will find Maple Brook Messina in her pedigree. Messina is the FULL sister to Magical’s famous male Peruvian Dakotia, the sire of the Jericho breeding line at Magical Farms. This line created males such as MFI Peruvian Jericho, Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah, LMFI Peruvian Playboy, MFI Peruvian Precocious, Peruvian Makinhay (lot 19) and many more genetic treasures. Her sire is Peruvian Jeronimo, the spectacular fawn son of PPeruvian Guellermo and PPeruvian Epifania who produced several herdsires for the Magical Farms Herdsire Row. Jeronimo has been the sire of many championship offspring over the years in a wide range of colors…such as multiple champion MFI High Class, purchased by Roger and Karen Dunn for $32,000 at the 2007 Breeders Choice Auction; multiple champion MFI Garrison, purchased by Abenaki Acres Farm & Parris Hill Farm in the 2009 Breeders Choice Auction; multiple champion MFI Peruvian Cactus Jack, who sold to Alpaca Grove/Black Walnut Alpacas/Chagrin Meadows/Coffee Pot Farm/Ross Alpaca Ranch/Whistler’s Glen for a well-deserved $150,000 at the 2007 Breeder’s Choice Auction and MFI Highlight who sold to Alpacas of Peaceful Glen at the 2008 Breeder’s Choice Auction! Since Jeronimo is getting up in years, we decided to keep one of his more recent sons, MFI Peruvian Armoire. We’ve always counted on Jeronimo to provide high-quality offspring for each year’s auction and he is well-represented in lots 4, 41, 43, 54, 72, and 84. LMFI & MFI Peruvian Maziya sells with full Libby Forstner and Magical Farms guarantees and with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted herdsire owned by Libby or Magical Farms. Her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

2011 Breeder’s Choice Auction 7

Owned by Magical Farms and Libby Forstner

LantoniaName: MFI & LMFI Peruvian Lantonia DOB: 07/23/2010Sire: Mister Antonio WhiteDam: My Peruvian Lisha ARI# 32166880

In the Breeders Choice Auction this year, we are offering an unprecedented selection of breeding lines that CONSISTENTLY produce outstanding crias. We consider this a critically important part of the selection of foundation stock. In this case, we are offering MFI & LMFI Peruvian Lantonia, the daughter of Peruvian Mr. Antonio and Peruvian Lisha. On both the sire and dam sides of this pedigree stand alpacas who consistently produce high-end offspring. In regard to Mr. Antonio, this auction likely represents the last release of offspring from this incredible male, representing his famous sire Peruvian Hemingway. On the dam side of the equation is Peruvian Lisha, the daughter of accoyo PPPeruvian Mr. President and Peruvian Lambchop (out of accoyo PPPeruvian Tardis and PPPeruvian Brise), has produced other auction-quality alpacas for Magical Farms and Libby such as Peruvian Lost Treasure who sold at the 2007 Breeders Choice Auction to Tim and Debbie McCarty; Peruvian Lucky Arrival who sold to Tim and Gwen Smith in 2005; and Peruvian Leleshwa who sold in the 2009 Breeders Choice Auction to Maggie DiUlio. Each sale was made to highly-respected, experienced alpaca breeders and we are proud that they selected them. This year we offer another Lisha daughter Lantonia, most likely the last one, because if Lisha produces yet another daughter, we will keep her to replace our incredible Lisha! Unfortunately, due to Mr. Antonio’s death, this particular combination can never be repeated. Peruvian Lantonia sells with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted herdsire owned by Libby or Magical Farms. She sells with our full Farm guarantees. Her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

F8Name: MFI Peruvian F8 DOB: 07/07/2009Sire: Jeronimo S282 Dark FawnDam: MFI Peruvian Fjorde ARI# 31910798

As is so typical of offspring of Peruvian Jeronimo, MFI Peruvian F8 has a beautiful fawn fleece with high-frequency crimp. She has excellent conformation and dense fleece coverage down to her toes. When we purchased PPeruvian Epifania, Jeronimo’s dam, many years ago, we were blown away by her incredibly dense fleece with tight, tight crimp. Her son Jeronimo at her side had the same advanced crimp in fawn. F8 has a rich color pedigree with her dam MFI Peruvian Fjorde, daughter of Black Peruvian Royal Forest, our co-owned, ½ accoyo BLACK herdsire being offered as Lot 13. Black Forest is the black son of accoyo PPeruvian Royal Fawn. She has other accoyo males in her pedigree such as fawn accoyo Timoteo and Peruvian Kilimanjaro, son of the famous Accoyo Caligula. We are breeding F8 to LMFI Peruvian Playboy, pictured at left. Just imagine that cria! F8 sells with full Magical Farms guarantees. Her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

Order FilledName: MFI Timbo’s Order Filled DOB: 01/06/2011Sire: 6Peruvian Dom Timbo 5042 IMPR98 Dark Silver GreyDam: MFI To Order ARI# 32286090

Every single known ancestor in this pretty female’s pedigree is silver or rose grey except for her dam MFI To Order, who is black! MFI Timbo’s Order Filled is exactly what we “ordered” when we bred 6Peruvian Dom Timbo to MFI To Order. Her sire and her sire’s grand sire and great grand sire and grand dam are all silver grey. Her dam is black and her maternal grand dam is rose grey. She has a soft fleece and a classic Dom Timbo head and beautiful phenotype. If we were to keep Timbo’s Order Filled, we’d probably breed her to a color other than grey because of her strong grey pedigree. Timbo’s Order Filled sells with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted Magical Farms herdsire and with full Magical Farms guarantees. Her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive

options detailed on page 3.

Name: MFI Peruvian Bali DOB: 5/29/2011Sire: LMFI Peruvian Playboy Medium FawnDam: MFI Peruvian Boliva ARI#

When we were deciding who to breed to LMFI Peruvian Playboy, we selected MFI Peruvian Boliva, a simply gorgeous fawn female with an excellent fleece exhibiting high-frequency crimp, excellent phenotype and outstanding fleece density. We were delighted when MFI Peruvian Bali (named after the plush Indonesian island Bali) made the scene! So delighted, in fact, that we bred Boliva BACK to multiple champion LMFI Peruvian Playboy with the hopes of creating another Bali! Boliva’s impressive pedigree is a blending of some well-known accoyo males (6Peruvian Accoyo Titan, PPPeruvian Augusto, Pperuvian Timoteo) with PC Running Late, Peruvian Donovan, and DPA Quetzal, proven herdsires at Magical Farms. Through LMFI Peruvian Playboy we added genetics such as Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah, MFI Peruvian Jericho, Snowmass Millenium, accoyo 4Peruvian Legacy, Peruvian Dakotia, 5Peruvian Inca’s Ransom and Peruvian Hemingway…along with a group of females representing some of the best in North America. We are breeding Boliva back to Playboy and also want to offer a free breeding for Bali to any solely-owned, unrestricted Magical Farms herdsire! Light SabreName: MFI Peruvian Light Sabre DOB: 10/20/2007Sire: Mister Antonio WhiteDam: MFI Peruvian Love Bug ARI# 31116534

We are proudly offering MFI Peruvian Light Sabre, an incredible male with multiple Judges’ Choice Awards won under some of the best judges in our industry today! His fleece is elite, his phenotype is outstanding and his conformation is flawless! Light Sabre is the son of Mister Antonio, a male unbeaten in the show ring and acknowledged as one of the very best, most densely-fleeced sons of Peruvian Hemingway! Mr. Antonio is now deceased so this breeding cannot be repeated. Every farm should consider including a layering of these incredible genetics throughout their herd. We didn’t start showing Light Sabre until last fall when he was about 3 years old. He has won all of these awards as an adult and we are very proud of him. His dam is MFI Peruvian Love Bug, who has accoyo PPPeruvian Bravado and accoyo PPPeruvian Augusto in her pedigree. To give you an idea of the strength of this alpaca family, consider that Light Sabre’s full sister is MFI Peruvian Love Dove (next page) and a three-quarter brother is MFI Peruvian Legacy’s Lightning. MFI Peruvian Light Sabre sells with full Magical Farms guarantees. His purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3. Because he is a herdsire being purchased from Magical Farms, MFI Peruvian Light Sabre is eligible for inclusion in future issues of the Magical Farms Herdsire Catalog and Customer Herdsire Showcase!

Mabelina is the dam of Lot 1 MFI Peruvian Meeting of the Minds. And Goodnight’s sire is Peruvian Accipiter, the son of Accoyo 4Peruvian Cronus 6008, sire of offspring such as multiple champion MFI Peruvian Delicate Lace and MFI Peruvian Diplomat! Mescal’s dam Madonna is the stunning dark fawn daughter of Peruvian Dakotia and a beautiful, fawn import female named 5Peruvian Manzana 8448. Mescal’s pedigree is full of grey, black and both males and females who have produced excellence in color so we were not surprised to see Mescal arrive on the scene “dressed” in black. We bred Mescal, with her colorful background, to MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite with the hopes of producing a brown or black show cria and are delighted with Mindcraft’s rich brown color. Because we are so happy with the cria, we are breeding Mescal back to the legendary proven black herdsire, MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite! Black Mesquite’s breedings are limited and sell for $7,500. RoundaboutName: MFI Peruvian Roundabout DOB: 05/22/2010Sire: Mister Antonio WhiteDam: MFI Peruvian Rosana ARI# 32106411

It’s all about consistency…consistency of fleece character, consistency of micron, and consistency of production. If consistency is important to you, this female MFI Peruvian Roundabout has it all. Just looking at pedigree, Roundabout’s dam Rosana is one of Magical’s favorites. Rosana is a multiple champion female sired by Snowmass Millenium out of one of the most consistent production females in our industry, PPeruvian Ramona. For example, Ramona produced MFI Peruvian Rhoswen, dam of LMFI Peruvian Playboy. She produced color champions such as MFI Peruvian Ready to Run and MFI Peruvian Razzle Dazzle, dam of crias such as Razzmatazz, purchased by The Alpaca Group at the 2009 Breeders Choice Auction. Rosana herself is producing rock star after rock star. Her son MFI Peruvian Reality Check, a stunning son of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah, sold in the 2010 Breeders Choice Auction to Luna Sky Alpacas. Her son Range Finder will be joining the Magical Farms show string! Her multiple champion daughter Rosanadana is following in her footsteps; her first offspring is scheduled to join our fall 2011 show string. I could go on and on but if you research this line, you will find this line and its various branches consistently producing outstanding offspring for our farm…and it can for you as well. We rarely let these Rosana-line females go and we proudly offer Roundabout for your consideration. Her sire is one of the very best Hemingway sons, Peruvian Mr. Antonio. Mr. Antonio is now deceased so this unique combination cannot occur again. MFI Peruvian Roundabout sells with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted Magical Farms herdsire and with full Magical Farms guarantees. Her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

Black ForestName: Black Peruvian Royal Forest DOB: 03/26/2000Sire: PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014 True BlackDam: 6Peruvian Sheila 6521 ARI# 818617

If you think about the most rare alpacas in North America today, clearly half-accoyo black males must be at the top of the list. We have to admit that we didn’t believe it when River’s Edge Alpacas first told us that they had a BLACK son of the incredible FAWN accoyo male, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014. It was “love at first sight” when we first saw Black Forest. Forest is a bold-looking, handsome proven macho with an outstanding crimpy fleece, so rare for black alpacas. His fleece is dense and fine, with high-frequency and high-amplitude crimp. His phenotype, coverage and conformation are excellent. Black Peruvian Royal Forest has proven himself and his offspring in shows around the country. Black Forest consistently passes his gorgeous head, bones and fleece to his offspring. He has made some of the best blacks in the country and that is no small feat.Black Peruvian Royal Forest sells with full Magical Farms/River’s Edge guarantees. His purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3. Because he is a herdsire being purchased from Magical Farms, Black Forest is eligible for inclusion in future issues of the Magical Farms Herdsire Catalog and Customer Herdsire Showcase!

Taken off the top of Magical’s fall show string, MFI Peruvian White Cloud is a stunning white show female who should be an outstanding addition to any farm’s show and breeding program. She is the daughter of Peruvian Abundance, who sold in the 2010 Breeders Choice Auction to Arlin and Amy McCroskie, A&A Alpacas, for $84,000. White Cloud’s highly-advanced fleece exhibits high-frequency, high-amplitude crimp with a lovely, soft hand and excellent density. She’s phenotypically gorgeous with a classic head and excellent coverage. Her fleece feels like soft butter and is a pleasure to touch. Her dam is the daughter of accoyo PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014, Peruvian White Miracle. We recently lost White Miracle but during her lifetime, she produced some wonderful offspring such as White Cloud’s full brother, multiple champion MFI Peruvian White Light, who currently stands on Magical’s Herdsire Row. MakinhayName: MFI Peruvian Makinhay DOB: 06/25/2009Sire: LMFI Peruvian Playboy Dark FawnDam: My Peruvian Matilda ARI# 31894814

When the first offspring of LMFI Peruvian Playboy began to arrive in June, 2009, we knew that Playboy wasn’t going to let us down! As Playboy’s second-born son, MFI Peruvian Makinhay is everything we hoped for when we bred LMFI Peruvian Playboy to My Peruvian Matilda! Playboy is the multiple-champion son of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah and a beautiful white female named MFI Peruvian Rhoswen. On the paternal side of Makinhay’s family tree, through Playboy, Jeremiah brings MFI Peruvian Jericho, Peruvian Dakotia and 5Peruvian Inca’s Ransom to Makinhay’s impressive pedigree. Makinhay’s dam MFI Peruvian Rhoswen brings PPeruvian Ramona (dam of multiple champions), 4Peruvian Legacy, Peruvian Hemingway and multiple champion, All American Futurity winners, Snowmass Millenium and Peruvian Charmingway. Looking to the dam’s side of the “family,” she is the daughter of accoyo PPeruvian Timoteo, one of the best accoyo males ever imported into North America and 5Peruvian Marla, a gorgeous fawn female who produced offspring like Matilda and Mississippi. Accoyo Timoteo was a gorgeous fawn accoyo male and because of a tornado (literally), his life was cut tragically short making his genetics quite rare.Peruvian Makinhay is yet more proof that we sell our very best in our auction every year. If we were to keep Makinhay, we would use him on our Stud Row. We think he is a perfect candidate for anyone’s program because of his stunning quality and because of the consistent, proven ancestors in his pedigree. He is a handsome, phenotypically flawless male with an elite, FAWN fleece. He fleece is dense and bright, with

Elderberry Wine also has accoyo 4Peruvian Presidente in her pedigree making it a very unique one! The females in her line are nothing short of amazing…accoyo 4Peruvian Esbelta produced NINE crias during her lifetime, ALL of them females. Accoyo Ambrosia has produced TEN offspring and has made some of our top herdsires. Elderberry Wine is a phenotypically beautiful female with a typical accoyo fleece exhibiting density and an advanced crimp style.

The bottom side is just as impressive with Plantel and one of our black foundation females Riqui creating Risque’s dam Riqua. Mindtrick

Name: MFI Peruvian Mantaya DOB: 07/31/2005Sire: 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan WhiteDam: My Accoyo Peruvian Messina ARI# 30340626

Name: MFI Peruvian Mindtrick DOB: 06/21/2011Sire: MFI Firenzi Medium BrownDam: MFI Peruvian Numa ARI# 32286854

No kidding! Unrelated! Here’s how it happened…both Mantaya and Numa had their crias on the very same day. As the saying goes,“the grass is always greener on the other side”. Well, Mantaya decided she liked Numa’s cria better and Numa decided she liked Mantaya’s cria better and both crias agreed with both dams…so…badda bing…they switched their crias! This means you have a beautiful brown female cria, literally unrelated to her “adopted” dam! Where to start…MFI Peruvian Mantaya is the gorgeous daughter of 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan, who sold in the 2007Breeders Choice Auction to The Alpaca Group LLC for $250,000. Her dam is Peruvian Messina, who has two very famous accoyo legends in her pedigree…accoyo PPPeruvian Mr. President and accoyo PPeruvian Caligula. As for Mindtrick, she has a totally different lineage. Her sire is the famous multiple champion brown male MFI Firenzi, who sold in the 2010 Breeders Choice Auction to Racheal Farms, and as luck would have it, Mindtrick is his first offspring! MFI Firenzi is the son of multiple champion MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite and multiple champion DPA Florence, daughter of accoyo Pperuvian Timoteo, who has produced other champions for Magical Farms such as multiple champion MFI Freebird. Mindtrick’s “real” dam is MFI Peruvian Numa, who is related to two other extraordinary accoyo males, PPPeruvian Don Juan and PPeruvian Timoteo. A very exciting combination with incredible genetics to boot! Hey…who says you can’t pick your relatives?? To make this offer even more exciting, we are breeding MFI Peruvian Mantaya to Peruvian Realto, whose amazing fleeces have won Color Champion White Male Fleece not once but TWICE at both the 2009 and 2010 AOBA National Fleece Shows. His amazing fleece has won just about every specialty award possible including multiple championships, Judges Choice, Best Crimp, Best Brightness, and Best Hand. Their purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

Night DiamondName: MFI Peruvian Night Diamond DOB: 11/20/2009Sire: MFI Peruvian Merit WhiteDam: MFI Peruvian North Starlette ARI# 32031737

We were going to show MFI Peruvian Night Diamond this fall but decided to instead place her in our 2011 Breeder’s Choice Auction because she easily shows the quality passed by her sire MFI Peruvian Merit, being offered as lot 65. Night Diamond has all that we look for in a foundation female. She not only has excellent conformation, fineness, high-frequency crimp, consistency of fleece, and outstanding phenotype but she also has FLEECE density, an antagonistic trait to fineness. To achieve both in a fleece is difficult. Her sire MFI Peruvian Merit is the son of 5Peruvian Inca’s Ransom, grandsire of the famous, six-time Herdsire of the Year Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah. His grandsires are 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan and way back in his pedigree, Peruvian Hemingway. Her dam is MFI Peruvian North Starlette, a product of males and FEMALES known for their incredible fleece density, some of whom we’ve mentioned many times for this quality…accoyo PPPeruvian Dracula, PPeruvian Natividad, Peruvian Abundance and Peruvian Nicolette. She is a distant line-bred Hemingway prodigy with Hemingway way back in both Merit’s and North Starlette’s pedigree. Tripp and Libby put a lot of thought into her breeding decision, and decided to breed her to Jericho because it was the Jericho/Inca’s Ransom cross that created the legendary Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah! Night Diamond sells with full Magical Farms guarantees. Her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

Way Cool Sophisticated Lady (aka “Sophie”) comes from the heart of the Magical Farms white breeding program. We have loved her and her cria ever since we saw her as a juvenile and were lucky enough to add her to our program. We have kept nearly every female offspring from this wonderful female and please don’t ask to buy them because we are offering Sophie herself! We admit she is nearly impossible to part with. She has produced incredible offspring we are counting on for the future of our white breeding program. To prove that we offer our best at this auction, we offer our beloved Sophie. Sophie is bred to MFI Peruvian Quest, due Feb/March, 2012. Quest is one of a couple males on our farm carrying on the banner from multiple-champion Peruvian Abundance, whom we sold in the 2010 Breeders Choice Auction to A & A Alpacas for a well-deserved $84,000. Over the years, Crisantema produced black, grey, brown and fawn offspring depending on the color of the sire. Certainty has an exciting color background through her sire, MFI Peruvian Magnar. If you breed for grey alpacas, we hope you take the time to come to our auction this year because we have some stunning grey females in this sale! MFI Maid of Steel is one such grey female. Crimplestiltzkin

Name: MFI Peruvian Cornelia DOB: 12/21/2005Sire: CPeruvian Silvio 106 IMPF98 Dark Silver Grey Dam: MFI Peruvian Calypso ARI# 30474161

Name: Crimplestiltzkin DOB: 06/14/2011Sire: My Peruvian Obsydian True BlackDam: MFI Peruvian Cornelia ARI# 32286892

MFI Peruvian Cornelia is a dark silver grey female who sells with her handsome black son at her side! We kept Cornelia because of her dense crimpy grey fleece. We bred her to Peruvian Obsydian to create the ultimate black. We were thrilled when Crimplestilzkin made the scene, not to mention it gave Tripp a chance to use that name! We wanted to put some outstanding dam/cria combinations in this year’s auction and this combo was just too awesome to pass up. We think Crimplestilzkin speaks to the quality of the dam and the incredible offspring she will produce for you…so let’s discuss the handsome son at her side. He has strong black/grey lineage. We think he is an excellent candidate for breeding not only to blacks and greys, but also fawns and browns to create the ultimate blacks. This is how we are breeding his sire Obsydian and if we didn’t own Obsydian, we wouldn’t part with this little black male. Because you would have an Obsydian son with this package, we are breeding MFI Peruvian Cornelia to LMFI Peruvian Introuvable, the 2007 AOBA National Fleece Show Black Male Color Champion. Introuvable (co-owned with Diamond Rose Ranch) is a magnificent son of MFI Peruvian Jericho (co-owned with Flying Pony Alpacas). Introuvable’s dam is the famous multiple champion black female owned by Libby Forstner, Peruvian Ineffable. Ineffable produced the famous All American Futurity Champion LMFI Ireland. Ineffable is the daughter of MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite. As you can see, this future offspring will be the blending of some of the best black genetics in North America and we can hardly wait to see her next cria! Both Cornelia and Crimplestilzkin sell with TNT’s and Magical’s full Farm guarantees. PurezaName: MFI Peruvian Pureza DOB: 11/02/2008Sire: MFI Peruvian Jericho Medium FawnDam: My Peruvian Pallas ARI# 31563185

Have you ever had the feeling that you were going to regret doing something? That was the feeling I had as I wrote this auction narrative. The reason is that we have only kept one offspring of Peruvian Pallas! Selling MFI Peruvian Pureza was a difficult decision because of the incredible consistency of this line. At the 2009 Breeder’s Choice Auction, we sold her sister MFI Peruvian Pallas Lighting to The Alpaca Group, LLC. We sold her sister MFI Peruvian Palace Queen in the 2007 Breeder’s Choice Auction to the same farm. We sold her multiple champion brother MFI Peruvian Palace Guard to Fantasy Farm in the 2007 Breeder’s Choice Auction. The only daughter we have kept has been MFI Peruvian Pallatial and SHE has been producing as consistently as her dam…such as MFI Peruvian Palace Towers and MFI Peruvian Perpetuity, being offered as Lot 54!! Pureza’s sire is MFI Peruvian Jericho, sire of males such as Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah and MFI Peruvian Formula 1…and over 140 other champions! As I write this narrative, I have just learned that Tripp sold Pureza’s dam Peruvian Pallas and her medium fawn cria by MFI Peruvian Formula 1 to Keva Ranch! Yep, this is truly a tough decision! The consistency of this female line is nothing short of amazing. MFI Peruvian Pureza has the same soft fleece, consistent high-frequency crimp style and outstanding phenotype of her dam and siblings. Her fleece is bright, bright, bright with excellent staple length! To make her purchase even more exciting, she is BRED to PC Running Late (due March, 2012) the son of Accoyo Peruvian Titan who sold in the 2007 Breeders Choice Auction to The Alpaca Group LLC for $250,000. PC Running Late is a multiple champion male who won First Place, Color Champion and Judges’ Choice at the 2004 AOBA National Winter Fleece Show, Color Champion at the 2003 All American Futurity and much more! Baird’s rock solid black genetics come from the industry’s best black males, MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite, 4Peruvian Matador, and 5Peruvian Black Ice. His dam MFI Peruvian Barika, his grand dam Black Chita and his granddam 5Peruvian Hiedra are all incredible black females with gorgeous fleeces. ALL three females produced black 100% of the time when they were bred to black males! When she was 15 years old, we sold his great grand dam 5Peruvian Hiedra, dam of MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite, at the 2010 Breeder’s Choice Auction to Double “O” Good Alpacas for their top-of-the-line breeding program. Baird’s sire MFI Peruvian Gathering Storm is an incredible dark fawn male, son of Jericho, who has produced many black offspring…as have Jericho’s other sons. We love Baird not just because he is a multiple champion with one of the best black fleeces we’ve ever produced…but because in his pedigree he has some of the best genetics our farm has ever owned and/or produced!

MFI Macrame is another rose grey home run by MFI Scimitar! Her dam MFI Mackenzie produced six crias before we sold her to Clover Bottom Alpaca Ranch in December, 2010. When bred to Scimitar, she produced grey crias 100% of the time, when bred to Sky King she produced black 100% of the time and when she was bred to MFI Shaquille she produced grey two of the three times. MFI Scimitar is the grey son of CPeruvian Silvio 106 and NWA, LTD Sunshine! Accompanying his outstanding, true-to-alpaca phenotype is his outstanding fleece. He has one of the most dense alpaca fleeces we have ever seen with highly-advanced, high-frequency crimp. You can see from Scimitar’s fleece as well as his fleece picture that his fleece has a very organized structure. His sire CPeruvian Silvio is one of the most consistent, proven grey males in North America. His dam NWA, LTD Sunshine has produced many outstanding alpacas for Magical Farms and we are sad to report that she passed away in March, 2011, after producing males such as MFI Scimitar and MFI Shaquille. MFI Macrame’s maternal grandsire is 6Peruvian Dom Timbo, the first male chosen in the sixth Peruvian import…selected before all other males including all of the Accoyo males. She has genetics from Peruvian Frontrunner, Peruvian Rolex (lot 46), accoyo 4Peruvian Ajax, accoyo PPPeruvian King, accoyo PPPeruvian Mr. President, 4Peruvian Legacy, Peruvian Hemingway, Snowmass Millenium, and multiple champion winning females like MFI Peruvian Fenja and Peruvian Charmingway. She is a distant line-bred female who inherited the best of her ancestors. To top this off, she’s being bred to the SIX time Herdsire of the Year, Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah!!She sells with full Magical Farms guarantees. Jentle SoulName: MFI Peruvian Jentle Soul DOB: 08/05/2006Sire: MFI Peruvian Barringer Medium FawnDam: MFI Peruvian Jamaica ARI# 30623460

If you are looking for a fawn foundation female, please consider this outstanding daughter of MFI Peruvian Barringer and MFI Peruvian Jamaica, daughter of Accoyo PPPeruvian Augusto 6009 and NWA, LTD Jean. Jean’s dam and sire are Peruvian Don Julio, sold to Australia many years ago, and PPeruvian Lizbeth, a female well-known for her excellent crias. Last I heard, Lizbeth was still producing and was still owned by Northwest Alpacas. Jentle Soul has a fantastic phenotype with a dense, crimpy fleece to match. To make this more exciting, we are breeding Jentle Soul to PC Running Late, the multiple-champion son of 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan, sold to The Alpacas Group LLC for $250,000 at the 2007 Breeders Choice Auction. What’s the expression…“quality top to bottom…inside and out!” That’s certainly Jentle Soul. Jentle Soul sells with full Magical Farms guarantees. Silver SkyName: LMFI Peruvian Silver Sky DOB: 07/02/2010Sire: My Peruvian Sky King Dark Silver GreyDam: LMFI Peruvian Sahalie ARI# 32286984

The 2011 Breeders Choice Auction has some of the best grey genetics ever offered in any of our auctions. The fleece quality in this grey female is outstanding. LMFI Peruvian Silver Sky is the dark silver grey daughter of Peruvian Sky King, owned in partnership by Bob and Nancy Danielson and Libby. Silver Sky has a soft, grey fleece with high-amplitude crimp and fleece density, so unusual for grey alpacas but so typical of Sky King’s offspring. She is the daughter of LMFI Peruvian Sahalie whose sire is MFI Peruvian Jericho and whose dam is CPeruvian Silvia, Libby’s oldest grey foundation female. Sahalie has an elite fleece in GREY. Silver Sky’s sire is Peruvian Sky King, a solid silver, multiple champion grey herdsire with two grey parents…CPeruvian Silvio and CPeruvian Silvia. With Silvia on both the top and bottom of Silver Sky’s pedigree, I believe it is a safe bet that her grey genetics are solid even with MFI Peruvian Jericho in the mix. ReminiscantName: MFI Peruvian Reminiscant DOB: 07/17/2010Sire: MFI Peruvian Cactus Jack Medium BrownDam: MFI Peruvian Regal Angel ARI# 32167283

At the 2007 Breeders Choice Auction, with mixed feelings of great pride as well as regret for not keeping him, we sold a mega-champion male named MFI Peruvian Cactus Jack at the end of his very, very successful show career for a well-deserved $150,000 to the partnership of Alpaca Grove/Black Walnut Alpacas/Chagrin Meadows/Coffee Pot Farm/Ross Alpaca Ranch/Whistler’s Glen . The sire of MFI Peruvian Reminiscant is Cactus Jack and you can see by the quality of this magnificent brown female why he was one of the headliners in our auction. Cactus Jack’s sire is Magical’s Peruvian Jeronimo, the son of PPeruvian Guellermo. In addition to Guellermo, Cactus Jack inherited his fleece density from Jeronimo’s dam, PPeruvian Epifania, who produced other herdsires for Magical Farms such as Peruvian Accipiter, Peruvian Equador and, of course, Jeronimo. Reminiscant’s dam is MFI Peruvian Regal Angel, daughter of accoyo PPPeruvian Augusto, one of our favorite female lines which originated with 5Peruvian Aceba 8557, imported in the fifth Peruvian import, the import which brought so many incredible colored alpacas into North America. Aceba bred to accoyo PPPeruvian Royal Fawn produced Reminiscant’s grand dam Peruvian Royal Angel. This is an incredible line, both male and female, and we are proud to offer MFI Peruvian Reminiscant in the 2011 Breeders Choice Auction. Show Reminiscant…then add her to your foundation breeding program. With her brown color and black points, we would recommend breeding her for BLACK. Because of this, she sells with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted Magical Farms herdsire…or we will offer a free breeding to Libby’s magnificent black male LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight who won Black Male Color Champion at both the 2010 All American Futurity and the 2010 AOBA National Halter Show! Imagine Reminiscant in BLACK! Reminiscant sells with full Magical Farms guarantees. Her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

If you believe that the value of any female is reflected in the quality of her offspring, then you are going to LOVE this female! MFI Accoyo Early bird is the daughter of accoyo PPPeruvian Don Juan 6005, who at the age of 18 is still standing stud at Casa de Arboles. He is a proven macho with a fleece that is still soft with excellent crimp! Her dam is Peruvian Accoyo Early Morning Dream brings the power of Titan and Dracula into the pedigree. MFI Accoyo Early Bird comes from two lines of proven producers and is exactly what we look for in a foundation female. Now, on to Easy Rider...if we didn’t already co-own his sire MFI Accoyo Restoration with Kendall Creek Farms, we’d be keeping Early Bird’s full accoyo son for our own breeding program. Her son MFI Accoyo Easy Rider sells with Early Bird and is proof of what this female will be producing. Easy Rider is her first offspring and not only is he the son of MFI Accoyo Restoration, he is the grandson of one of Magical’s favorite female lines 6Peruvian Accoyo Rosa 6385. Accoyo Restoration also added Accoyo Dionysus, accoyo PPPeruvian Mr. President, Peruvian Accoyo Ambrosia and 4Peruvian Presidente among others to Easy Rider’s incredible pedigree. Because Easy Rider seems to be a home run, we decided to breed accoyo Early Bird to another male and selected mega-champion MFI Peruvian Precocious for the task. Precocious is the son of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah who has won SIX Herdsire of the Year titles! It’s not everyday an auction offers a package of this quality…including a full accoyo cria at side of this caliber! Both Accoyo Early Bird and her son Accoyo Easy Rider sell with TNT’s and Magical’s full farm guarantees. Their purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3. AllblackName: MFI Peruvian Allblack DOB: 07/15/2009Sire: My Peruvian Obsydian Dark BrownDam: MFI Peruvian Amerikhana ARI# 31910729

It’s a long story but the bottom line is that Allblack is named after the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team. The truth is…he isn’t black…he’s dark brown but we admit his name is a great conversation piece. When he was a juvenile, Allblack suffered a broken tail. We have a medical report to document this occurrence. Therefore, while we could have done so, we made a decision not to show him very much. We did, however, feel so confident in the fleece quality of this outstanding male that we entered his wonderful fleece in the highly-competitive 2011 AOBA National Fleece Show. His brown fleece with its fineness, density and high-frequency crimp won First Place and Reserve Brown Male Color Champion! For those of you familiar with bloodlines, you will no doubt notice that his dam is multiple champion Amerikhana, a daughter of MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite. Amerikhana’s dam is mega-champion Peruvian Almerea, who won Color Champion Brown fleece at both the 2003 and 2004 AOBA National Fleece Shows and also won awards such as Breeders’ Choice, Judges’ Choice, Best Hand, Best Crimp and much more! Almerea’s dam was 5Peruvian Aceba 8557,for those of you who want to check your import notes, and she was one of the best brown females to ever reside in North America. Allblack’s sire is Peruvian Obsydian, sire of numerous champions, and is owned in partnership by Libby and Majestic Meadows Alpacas. Obsydian’s sire is 6Peruvian Dom Timbo and his dam 6Peruvian Itabuna 6251. Dom Timbo was chosen first in that

CashmireName: MFI & LMFI Peruvian Cashmire DOB: 07/22/2010Sire: My Peruvian Obsydian True BlackDam: My Peruvian Cashmere ARI# 32166903

MFI & LMFI Peruvian Cashmire is the FULL sister to MFI & LMFI Peruvian Absence of Light who sold in the 2010 Breeders Choice Auction to Myrle and Art Blackburn for their high-end breeding program! Like Absence of Light, Cashmire is a phenotypically beautiful black female with excellent crimp and fleece density. She is the daughter of Peruvian Cashmere (black) and Peruvian Obsydian (black). Cashmere’s parents were also both black. As a matter of fact, Cashmire’s entire known pedigree is black except for grandsire 6Peruvian Dom Timbo who is grey. This makes her an excellent candidate for breeding to a lighter color, such as fawn, for the ultimate black fleece. She sells with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted herdsire owned by Libby or Magical Farms with the exception that if you prefer, we will make arrangements to breed her to MFI Peruvian Jericho or MFI Peruvian Formula 1! MFI Peruvian Perpetuity is the daughter of Peruvian Jeronimo, one of the males we acquired years ago when we bought almost all of Alpacas of America’s Peruvian females. We fell in love with Jeronimo, the son standing by the side of one of the most magnificent females we have ever owned, PPeruvian Epifania. Epifania was an amazing female known for her excellent fleece characteristics who went on to produce other herdsires for Magical Farms. Perpetuity’s dam is MFI Peruvian Pallatial, one of the few daughters of My Peruvian Pallas that we have kept. Pallatial is an incredible female, sister of MFI Peruvian Palace Guard, and daughter of Peruvian Equador, paternal brother to Magical’s famous MFI Peruvian Jericho. Pallatial is the granddaughter of Peruvian Dakotia and Peruvian Epifania making her a distant line breeding that clearly “worked.” If you are looking for quality, MFI Peruvian Perpetuity will fit the bill!

Okay…we need to talk! If you are going to buy Bootyshaker, then we just have to “insist” that you continue calling her “Smiley” because that nickname fits this gorgeous female more than Bootyshaker…although, “Bootyshaker” kinda fits her too! Regardless of her name, we call her outstanding quality from the top of her gorgeous, typey head to the tip of her toes! Bootyshaker is the daughter of MFI Peruvian Lethal Weapon, the half-accoyo black son of 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan, now owned in partnership with Rock Creek Alpacas. Her dam is a black female MFI Peruvian Beauty Dust, daughter of MFI Peruvian Jericho, who needs no introduction, and Peruvian PRA Belinda. Every single one of the known ancestors in her pedigree is a multiple champion or multiple-champion producing alpaca. If we were to keep Smiley, we’d breed her to BLACK because of her color genetics. Just imagine an offspring like Smiley in brown or BLACK!! In addition to the above, her grandsires are males like accoyo PPeruvian Leon (most likely the darkest accoyo male imported into the United States), MFI Peruvian Jericho, Peruvian Bueno , Peruvian Don Julio and females with qualities “off the charts.” MFI Peruvian Bootyshaker (aka Smiley) sells with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted herdsire owned by Magical Farms and with full Magical Farms guarantees. MFI Peruvian Merit represents an exciting and outstanding pedigree! He also has Peruvian Hemingway way back in his pedigree…far enough back to allow for some distant line-breeding yet hey, “it’s in there!” These genetics represent a blending of some of the most rare genetics in our industry today. Merit’s fleece is very fine and bright, bright, bright! He is an outstanding male with excellent fleece density and a highly-advanced fleece exhibiting a high-frequency, high-amplitude crimp style. He has an awesome head…a flawless phenotype and conformation. Merit has outstanding fleece coverage so typical of Titan, Hemingway and Inca’s Ransom prodigy. Imagine’s dam SHRA Peruvian Immogene has been a wonderful, consistent foundation female for Majestic Meadows and Magical Farms. We have counted on her over the years to produce offspring of a high quality. This is her third daughter that has qualified for our annual auction since we purchased her in partnership with Majestic Meadows. Our Peruvian Imagine is another example of the consistency of this female line when bred to different males. We believe that the female is as important as the male in the breeding of alpacas and this is reflected in our herd of foundation females. A couple outstanding siblings are featured below. Our Peruvian Imagine sells with full Majestic and Magical Farms guarantees. She sells with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted herdsire owned by Majestic or Magical and her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

Accoyo Ppperuvian Augusto set a world record selling price in 2000 when he sold at the Breeders Choice Auction for $226,000. When Jerry saw MFI Peruvian Creativity’s dam at an auction a few years ago, she reminded him of a multiple champion Jericho daughter and he surprised us by buying her. And so it was that Derwydd Luciano’s Cusnichi came to live at Magical Farms! When bred to our multiple champion black herdsire Peruvian Obsydian, she produced three stunning bay black crias…China Study, MFI Peruvian Creativity and in January of 2011, another beautiful black daughter. Creativity has it all…beautiful dense, crimpy black fleece and a true-to-alpaca phenotype on a solid frame. We are breeding her to MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite, co-owned by Magical Farms and Flying Pony Alpacas. Black Mesquite’s breedings sell for $7,500 each. He is acknowledged as quite possibly the best, proven, most consistent black stud in North America and we are expecting an exciting cria from this combination. MacroName: MFI Peruvian Macro DOB: 09/24/2009Sire: MFI Peruvian Donovan Medium FawnDam: Pacific Crest Microsoft’s Microwave ARI# 32166392

You’ve seen FULL siblings to MFI Peruvian Macro offered at previous Breeders Choice Auctions for buyers’ outstanding breeding programs. For example, at the 2009 Breeders Choice Auction, multiple champion MFI Peruvian Microman was purchased by Golden Star Farm and at the 2007 Breeders Choice Auction, Color Champion MFI Peruvian Microdonna was purchased by Shepherd’s Creek Alpacas. A full sibling, multiple champion Mountain Dancer, and another sister Mytrona, have remained in the Magical Farms breeding program. As a matter of fact, Mytrona’s daughters Mychrona and Mandolyne are being offered as Lots 57 and 62 in this auction! It should come as no surprise after seeing Microman, Macro and Microdonna why we continue to breed Donovan to Microwave! This is an amazingly consistent line which we are proud to share. MFI Peruvian Macro is an exceptional fawn male…the “total package” with a true-to-alpaca phenotype and an outrageously consistent fleece, so typical of Donovan’s offspring. His fleece exhibits high-frequency crimp and lovely brightness. His sire MFI Peruvian Donovan is the fawn son of accoyo PPPeruvian Augusto who sold in the 2000 Breeder’s Choice Auction for a world record price of $226,000. Breeders from across the world bid on Accoyo Augusto! Accoyo Augusto is gone now but it’s clear that his son Donovan remains one of the reasons why he was valued so highly by so many, especially by Magical Farms. As with Augusto, Donovan’s offspring are consistent from fiber to pheno. As for Macro’s beautiful dam Pacific Crest Microsoft’s Microwave, we purchased her from Greg and Diana Mecklem and have been delighted with Microwave’s

LMFI Peruvian Lacey’s Love is the daughter of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah and a beautiful female named CPeruvian Lacey, hand-selected by Libby at the last Peruvian import sale in Canada. CPeruvian Lacey was a gorgeous fawn female with an elite fleece. Lacey’s Love’s sire is the famous Jeremiah who has won SIX Herdsire of the Year titles and is the sire of offspring who have won more than 140 championships. As you can see from her picture, LMFI Peruvian Lacey’s Love has a lovely phenotype…she has a fleece to match making her what judges refer to as the “total package.” Lacey’s Love will be bred prior to the auction to Peruvian Frontrunner because of the incredible offspring we have seen resulting from the Jericho/Frontrunner breeding combinations such as MFI Peruvian Realto and LMFI Peruvian Sensational. ChimneName: MFI Peruvian Chimne DOB: 07/24/2009Sire: My Peruvian Obsydian Light BrownDam: My Peruvian Chianna ARI# 32106244

One of the reasons we love Peruvian Obsydian so much is that he always seems to produce an outstanding cria …and Color Champion MFI Peruvian Chimne is just one more example. Chimne’s dam is beige and Obsydian took her color to brown. She has a beautiful light brown fleece with excellent density and crimp. She has all the phenotypical qualities one could ask for, and a gorgeous fleece to match. She has lots of color behind her and could easily be bred for any color. Her sire Obsydian is a multiple champion black, a proven male with many championship offspring. His sire is 6Peruvian Dom Timbo, the first male chosen in the sixth Peruvian import…ahead of all of the accoyo males. His dam is 6Peruvian Itabuna, one of the first black females chosen in the sixth Peruvian import, and the grand dam of the Itabuna/Ivanna/Ineffable/Ireland/Isabow grand line. On the dam’s side of the pedigree stands males like Peruvian Dakotia (sire of MFI Peruvian Jericho), Peruvian Bueno and outstanding females. How about this for exciting: we are breeding MFI Peruvian Chimne to Jeremiah’s Peruvian Jumanji, a son of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah, who has not only won many Color Championships such as the All American Futurity and AOBA, but he has also won Halter Judges’ Choice three times, including the Futurity and AOBA! GoldilocksName: MFI Peruvian Goldilocks DOB: 10/04/2010Sire: Jeronimo S282 Medium FawnDam: AAR Powerplay’s Golden Sparkle ARI# 32286106

MFI Peruvian Goldilocks is yet another spectacular daughter of Peruvian Jeronimo, selected by Jerry and Libby when we purchased his mother PPeruvian Epifania many years ago when Jeronimo was a cria. We rely on Jeronimo to produce high-end offspring eligible for our annual auction and he does so year after year. Goldilocks’s dam is AAR Powerplay’s Golden Sparkle. If you ever had the privilege of seeing the fleece on Powerplay, you would understand our desire to have some of his genetics in our herd. We liked it enough to buy a daughter out of one of our favorite dams, Goldilocks. In reusing the name, we felt like we were bringing sexy back. Now, while the names are the same on grand dam and child, we feel like we have made fleece improvements by adding Jeronimo, our stalwart producer of phenomenally consistent fleeces. You can see from her photo the level of bundling carried by this girl and she will bring it to her daughter of the future...probably named Goldilocks.

A number of years ago while attending another auction, Libby fell in love with a full accoyo female named Pacific Crest Accoyo Coca Cola. When Coca Cola’s daughter Camelios Accoyo Pepsi Cola was born and her owners decided to sell her, Libby gladly obliged and accoyo Pepsi Cola came to live at Magical Farms. Pepita’s sire is Accoyo Dionysus who sold to The Alpaca Group LLC, Casa de Arboles & La Finca Alpacas in the 2010 Breeder’s Choice Auction. Pepita’s maternal sister Pepsi’s Penzance sold in the 2008 Breeders Choice Auction to The Alpaca Group LLC. Pepsi Cola’s son Accoyo Powerstrike is standing stud on Magical’s Herdsire Row. Now along comes her daughter Pepita whom we are parting with only because we’d like to put a beautiful beige accoyo female in our 2011 Breeders Choice Auction. There just aren’t enough Pepitas to go around! She’s a beautiful female with a crimpy, very soft fleece. Because she’s too young to breed, she sells with a breeding to any solely-

To properly illustrate the incredible quality of this silver grey female and her pedigree, we need to tell a story…from the sixth Peruvian import, Libby purchased an awesome rose grey female named 6Peruvian Bruna 6191. When bred to CPeruvian Silvio, Bruna produced a beautiful black female named My Peruvian Brunetta. When Brunetta was bred to MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite, she produced All American Futurity Black Female Color Champion LMFI Peruvian Buena, who sold to Double “O” Good Alpacas in the 2007 Breeders Choice Auction for $105,000! When bred to 5Peruvian Quicksilver (the sire of MFI Shaquille who sold for a world record grey male price of $310,000 in the 2008 Breeder’s Choice Auction and brother to MFI Scimitar), they produced My Peruvian Beretta, a silver grey female with a very dense yet soft fleece exhibiting high-frequency crimp. Because of the success of breeding Brunetta to Black Mesquite, Libby decided to breed Peruvian Beretta, Brunetta’s daughter, to MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite. The result was the stunningly beautiful, grey female LMFI & MFI Peruvian Silver Beret. This female is top-of-the line grey who can, and should, be bred for black or grey offspring as she has only black or grey in her known pedigree. Silver Beret sells with full Magical Farms and Libby’s guarantees. She sells with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted herdsire owned by Libby or Magical Farms. Name: MFI Peruvian Merlin’s Nemesis DOB: 11/27/2009Sire: LMFI Peruvian Playboy Light FawnDam: MFI Magic By Titan ARI# 32031409

MFI Peruvian Tafaya is one of Magical’s WHITE foundation females. She comes from a rare genetic coupling…Snowmass Millenium and the daughter of accoyo PPPeruvian Auzengate 6010, Miss Accoyo Tammy Faye. Accoyo Auzengate was snatched up by Australian breeders shortly after his import into the United States and spent his breeding career Down Under. Tafaya is everything one would expect from an accoyo/Hemingway line cross. She is truly very difficult to part with and we offer her with great pride. When you consider that she is bred to multiple champion MFI Peruvian Precocious, you can understand how difficult this decision was for us. Tafaya’s cria is due Feb/March, 2012. She sells with full Magical Farms guarantees. Her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

MFI Peruvian Merlin’s Nemesis is the daughter of mega-champion LMFI Peruvian Playboy and MFI Magic by Titan, a gorgeous daughter of 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan. When we selected this breeding pair, we did it with the plan in mind to produce a female with excellent fleece and phenotype. We achieved this goal with Playboy and Magic By Titan then got color as an added bonus. Playboy is a beige male, and Magic by Titan is white, but her sire 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan has produced many colored championship offspring such as PC Running Late and MFI Peruvian Lethal Weapon. We will breed Merlin’s Nemesis to our fawn signature herdsire Peruvian Jeronimo who has produced numerous champions for us such as his sons MFI Peruvian Armoire and MFI Peruvian Cactus Jack. ClaudelleName: LMFI Claudelle DOB: 08/27/2010Sire: LMFI and TNT Peruvian Nevada Medium FawnDam: A and A Claudette ARI# 2095524

Libby has bred the daughter of accoyo Peruvian Mr. President ANA Claudette four times to four different males and each time she has produced an outstanding offspring! If you attended the 2009 and 2010 Breeder’s Choice Auctions, then you’ve seen two of her three daughters…and LMFI Claudelle makes three! Her fourth cria is an outstanding male by MFI Peruvian Panasche named Captain Courageous. Jerry purchased Claudelle’s dam A and A Claudette for Libby as a wonderful present and Libby has been in love with her ever since. Back to Claudelle…Magical Farms originally sold a dark female named Paige to Amy and Arlin McCroskie. When Amy and Arlin offered Paige’s daughter ANA Claudette, Jerry snatched her up as a present for Libby and the rest is history. Claudette’s first daughter Claudine sold BACK to Amy and Arlin McCroskie in the 2009 Breeder’s Choice Auction. Her second daughter Claudia sold to Tanner Z Farms and BelleauWood Farms in the 2010 Breeder’s Choice Auction. Claudette’s third daughter is LMFI Claudelle, being offered in this year’s Breeder’s Choice Auction. LMFI Claudelle’s sire is LMFI and TNT Peruvian Nevada, the mega-champion herdsire by Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah, out of multiple champion Peruvian Neala. Nevada sold to Emelise Alpacas in the 2009 Breeders Choice Auction. Nevada’s dam Neala, a multiple champion Donovan daughter, was the fawn female who dominated show rings in the mid-2000’s with two other Magical Farm’s females so similar in looks and style that they were nicknamed the “triplets”. If you value consistency in your females as much as in your males, as we do, this fawn female should be at the top of your list. We usually select older females but by selecting this pretty, woolly-faced juvenile, you can show her first and then add her to your high-end breeding program. We bred her dam MFI Drama Queen to MFI Peruvian Magnar because of the fleece match which we believed would be outstanding, and we are thrilled with the outcome represented by Dialed In. This unique match up of Accoyos Vengador and Timoteo with legends like Peruvian Jericho joined genetic forces to create this beautiful gem! MFI Dialed In sells with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted herdsire owned by Magical Farms. She sells with full Magical Farms guarantees and her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

Cache of ArmsName: MFI Cache of Arms DOB: 07/31/2010Sire: MFI Peruvian Lethal Weapon Medium BrownDam: MFI Chocolate Kiss ARI# 32167108

We usually let males mature closer to breeding age before we offer them in our annual Breeder’s Choice Auction; however, we have decided to offer MFI Cache of Arms at a young age so your farm can show him. He is a young, brown male with the phenotype we look for in our show string males. He also has the fleece…a dense, crimpy fleece with an excellent staple length. We expect him to be a big, bold male like his famous, proven sire MFI Peruvian Lethal Weapon, our half-accoyo black herdsire, whom we are proud to announce is now co-owned with Rock Creek Alpaca Farm! Lethal Weapon has done a phenomenal job of producing phenotypically superior offspring with excellent, dense, crimpy fleeces and MFI Cache of Arms falls right into step! His dam is MFI Chocolate Kiss, one of my favorite desserts and females all in one! Kiss’s sire is accoyo PPeruvian Timoteo’s famous son DPA Quetzal and her dam is Panamalpaca Cocoa Caria, a stunning true black female who passed away a couple years ago after producing seven fabulous crias for us. MFI Cache of Arms sells with full Magical Farms guarantees. His purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3. Because he is a herdsire being purchased from Magical Farms, MFI Cache of Arms is eligible for inclusion in future issues of the Magical Farms Herdsire Catalog and Customer Herdsire Showcase!

Earning 10 of 10 on the “cute factor,” MFI Ceepsake’s Momento is a gorgeous fawn female with an excellent fleece and top-of-the line phenotype! She has lots of fantastic color genetics in her pedigree, including Ceepsake’s multiple champion dam MFI Chinchilla, shown below. She has excellent fleece coverage and a fleece with a sought-after fineness. She has colors ranging from white to black in her pedigree, making her an excellent candidate for breeding for color. If we kept Momento, we’d clearly breed her for a color but the choice is yours. Ceepsake’s Momento sells with a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted Magical Farms herdsire but we will also make arrangements for a breeding to Peruvian Obsydian! Imagine her in brown or black! Momento sells with full Magical Farms guarantees. Her purchase can be

LMFI & MFI Peruvian Onette is the beautiful fawn daughter of Peruvian Jeronimo, one of Magical’s signature fawn herdsire who has produced so many outstanding offspring for Magical Farms. For more information about this magnificent male, check out Lot 54 MFI Peruvian Perpetuity. Onette’s dam is Libby’s fawn female Peruvian Onita, daughter of PPPeruvian Augusto and 6Peruvian Onelia. When we sold Augusto in the 2000 Breeders Choice Auction for a world-record setting price, little Onita was one of the many reasons why breeders from around the world bid on him. We’re going to breed Onette to 13-time champion Jeremiah’s Peruvian Jumanji. Jumanji won not only First Place, Color Champion and Judges Choice in the 2009 All American Futurity, he won the same awards in the 2009 AOBA National Halter Show. Paint DipperName: MFI Paint Dipper DOB: 07/21/2010Sire: My Peruvian Sky King True BlackDam: MFI Pleasure ARI# 32166606

Once in a while a female comes along who is so striking we describe her as having a “wow” or “cute” factor. With the grey in her pedigree, her color pattern looks like a classic dark grey female…with a black that covers nearly her entire body and the traditional white bib and head. She looks like she was caught dipping her head and feet in a white paint can…hence, her name “Paint Dipper.” Adding to her “awe” factor is the fact that her phenotype, fleece and fleece coverage are outstanding. Looking into that fleece, you can see she is more than black but the “blue black” we all love to touch. Her sire is Peruvian Sky King, co-owned by Libby and M&M Alpaca Farm. Sky King’s sire and dam are both grey, CPeruvian Silvio 102 and CPeruvian Silvia 1323. Her dam is MFI Pleasure, a solid black female by MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite out of a black female named Promise. As a matter of fact, every known ancestor on her dam’s side is solid black and every known ancestor on her sire’s side is solid grey! Breed her for grey or black…but we’d suggest one or the other at a time! MFI Paint Dipper sells with Magical’s full Farm guarantees and a free breeding to any solely-owned, unrestricted Magical Farms herdsire…or, we will arrange a free breeding to Peruvian Obsydian, co-owned by Libby and Majestic Meadows Alpacas. Below is a picture of Obsydian’s parents…his pedigree consists of 50% black and 50% grey alpacas of phenomenal quality. Her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.

GennyName: CPeruvian Genny1346 IMPF98 DOB: 01/01/1997Sire: Unknown Dark FawnDam: Unknown ARI# 806451 CAN 15224-FS

We can state with confidence that CPeruvian Genny was the most sought after female in the final Peruvian import which came in through Canada. She was at the top of everyone’s list and we were lucky enough to win

her. Genny has it all and has produced incredible offspring for us. As you can see from her picture, her phenotype is flawless. Perfect conformation, large bone capacity and an outstanding fleece round out this top-producing female. Even one cria from this rockstar can make a program. Her offspring have been outstanding. Her son MFI Peruvian Glacial Storm was snatched up at an early age by Mike Safley, Northwest Alpacas, for his Studmaster® program. Her son, Color Champion MFI Peruvian Gladiator, caught the eye of every visitor to Magical Farms until he sold as a young male to Tim and Gwen Smith in the 2002 Breeders Choice Auction. Her multiple Champion son MFI Peruvian Gathering Storm

spends six months per year standing stud on our farm and that of our long-time partners High Meadow Alpacas. To make this an even more amazing offering, we have bred CPeruvian Genny to MFI Peruvian Jericho which makes selling her at this time very painful. We can hardly wait to see this future cria and hope that the farm which purchases her considers showing this full relative to Gathering Storm. CPeruvian Genny sells with full Magical Farms guarantees and her purchase can be financed with either of the two attractive options detailed on page 3.
