Promote, monitor and maintain, health, safety and security of work areas, self, team and others.

Attend weekly departmental meetings to discuss safety issues and ongoing projects. Communicate regularly with other departments as well as service partners when required.Perform evaluations twice a year for the mechanical team, Update Synergy reports as requested by TSL

Supervise/Train Mechanics, Welders and Hydraulic Techs, develop their skills and manage their time.

Plan & coordinate maintenance, repairs & preventive maintenance, ensuring that these tasks are organized, supervised and executed in accordance with well programs and safety standards and recorded in IFS.

Troubleshoot various hydraulic systems and machinery on this 6th Generation DP3 drillship rated for 12,000 feet with dual BOP capability. Equipment and Machinery: (4 - NOV 14-P220 7500 psi mud pumps, 4- NOV knuckle boom cranes, 2- TDX 1250, 2- MPT200 Hydra Tong, 1- NOV 1250 Main Drawworks, 6 Brandt VSM 30 shell shakers, many NOV man rider wenches, 5 ton wenches, and 2- 10ton NOV wenches one on the rig floor and other in the moon pool area. Elevated back up tong, pipe handling crane, riser gantry crane, riser catwalk machine, pipe catwalk machine.Prepare reports, Microsoft spreadsheets, Identify and order necessary mechanical/hydraulic parts.

Monitor that all work meets policy and safety standards including Task Based Risk Assessments, Permit to Work, Energy Isolation and Rescue plans and any and all paperwork needed to perform each job to meet safety standards. Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all topside drilling equipment &hydraulic systems as needed. Coordinate welding/fabricating projects, Maintain and order sufficient spare parts and equipment needed. Update product information bulletins/recalls on all NOV equipment. Insure workshop equipment/tools are maintained to highest safety standards.
