coaching career in St. Louis with my first soccer team in 1996. I started coaching my daughter recreationally in 2006. In 2008, I began coaching competitive club soccer in KC and it has been a passion for me ever since.
My coaching philosophy is to create a positive environment for athletes to learn technical and tactical play by means of demonstration and supportive interaction. I believe in strong work ethic, communication, teamwork, and sportsmanship for players to be the best individuals they can be, both on and off the field.
Playing Exp. I was a two-sport player growing up in St. Louis, playing select soccer and baseball beginning at the age of 8 all the way through high school. I eventually played collegiate baseball at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Missouri. It was then, playing sports at the collegiate level, that inspired me to give sports back what I feel that I had missed in my youth, which is developmental coaching based on the fundamentals.

I was born and raised in the southern suburbs of St. Louis. In 2005, I began a new career and decided to make KC my home. I currently reside in the Kansas City Northland with my wife, Tammy and two daughters, Carly and Leah. Soccer has allowed me to make great friends, great memories, and incredible bonds. When I am not coaching my own teams, my favorite player is to watch is Lionel Messi. I am mesmerized by his creative play and extremely quick footwork.
