Boston Celtics Sponsor a New Elementary School Library

Estate, has acquired a reputation for being one of the city’s leading real estate executives. Among Michael Carucci’s many clients is the Boston Celtics organization.

In addition to its sports presence, the Celtics engage in many community improvement activities, such as renovating a library at Ellis Elementary School in Roxbury. The library refurbishment, co-sponsored by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) publishers, features new computers, tables, and books.

The Celtics It also features a Celtic-themed reading room,

decorated in the team’s distinctive green, with references to HMH literary characters. The computer lab’s equipment includes a “smart TV” to enhance its visual capability.

One of the Celtics’ newer players, Jerryd Bayless, attended the opening and told students that he reads at least an hour a day. He and the students took turns reading aloud. He also encouraged students to improve in anything they do by regularly practicing.
