TOBY BAILEY [#37 • GUARD • 6-6 • 213]Bailey brings veteran presence to the summer league squad. He was a member of the New York Knicks

training camp during the 2002-03 NBA season, before getting waived last October. After that, he played overseas with Panionios Athens. Bailey spent two seasons with the Phoenix Suns (1998-2000), averaging 3.3points and 1.7 rebounds in 9.6 minutes per game. He was a member of the Washington Wizards entry in the2000 Boston summer league, and was a member of the 1995 UCLA team that won the national championship.

MARCUS BANKS [#11 • GUARD • 6-2 • 200]The Reebok Pro Summer League will be the first chance for Celtics coaches and fans to take a look at

2003 First Round Draft Choice (13th overall) Marcus Banks. Banks was a First Team All-Mountain WestConference selection his senior season, while also being named Co-Defensive Player of the Year. He led the conference in assists and steals (7th in the nation), while finishing second in scoring.

J.R. BREMER [#9 • GUARD • 6-2 • 185]Bremer used last year’s summer league to earn himself a roster spot on the Celtics after going undrafted

in the 2002 NBA Draft. In his rookie season, Bremer earned Second Team All-Rookie Honors, after averaging 8.3points per game. He led all rookies in 2002-03 in three point percentage, shooting 35.3 percent from beyond the arc.

KEDRICK BROWN [#5 • FORWARD • 6-7 • 222]Brown is back for his third year in the Boston Summer League and will be looking for a breakout performance.

The Celtics will be looking for Brown to take on an increased role in 2003-04 and summer league is where thatshould start. With the Celtics hoping to run more next season Brown should get to show off his athleticism asthe Celtics make him the focus of their offense in the summer league.

CHRIS BURGESS [#57 • CENTER • 6-11 • 245]Burgess began his college career at Duke before transferring to Utah following his sophomore season.

Burgess was drafted 10th overall by the Idaho Stampede in the 2002 CBA Draft and 28th overall by the OklahomaStorm in the 2002 USBL Draft. He has played in both the CBA and in Turkey.

KRIS CLACK [#50 • GUARD • 6-4 • 194]Clack was selected 55th overall in the 1999 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics. He spent the 1999-00

season with the San Diego Stingrays of the IBL. He then spent two seasons with Pallacanestro Reggiana (Italy)before playing last season with S.S. Basket Napoli in the Italian A1 League.

LENNY COOKE [#12 • GUARD • 6-6 • 206]Cooke was not drafted out of high school in 2002. He showcased his talents last season with the Brooklyn

Kings of the USBL where he was named Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-USBL. The Celtics will be lookinglong and hard at Cooke to show his NBA talent during summer league.

BRENT DARBY [#29 • GUARD • 6-1 • 195]Darby went undrafted out of Ohio State. In his senior year, he led the Buckeyes averaging 18.0 points per

game, while chipping in 4.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game. Darby will be looking to prove he can play thepoint guard position at the NBA level.

KORNEL DAVID [#51 • FORWARD • 6-9 • 230]David will bring plenty of professional and NBA experience to the Celtics summer league roster. After

playing many seasons in Europe, David signed with the Chicago Bulls at the start of the 1998-99 season. He wasreleased in January of the 1999-00 season and then signed a 10-day contract with Cleveland. After finishing the1999-00 season in Hungary, he signed with the Toronto Raptors for the 2000-01 season and was traded to theDetroit Pistons in February. He has since played with Strasbourg IG in France.

DAVID GRAVES [#36 • FORWARD • 6-6 • 209]Graves spent four seasons at Notre Dame where he was teammates with the Golden State Warriors’ Troy

Murphy and the Memphis Grizzlies’ Ryan Humphrey. In 2002-03, Graves took his talents to the Dodge City Legendof the USBL where he was named to the All-Rookie Team and Sixth Man of the Year.

BRANDON HUNTER [#54 • FORWARD • 6-7 • 260]Hunter was selected 56th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2003 NBA Draft. He had a stellar career

at Ohio University where he became just the third player in Mid-American Conference history with 2,000 pointsand 1,000 rebounds. Hunter will be looking to prove he has the inside game to compete at the NBA level.

TERQUIN MOTT [#49 • FORWARD/CENTER • 6-8 • 245]Mott was selected in the second round of the 1997 CBA draft. After stints in the USBL and CBA, he took

his talents overseas before returning to the US and re-entering the CBA in 1999, playing for Rockford andLaCrosse. He then returned to Europe to play with Euro power Galatasaray (Turkey) and also with Gijon in Spain,where he averaged over 18 points and 8 boards per game. In the 2001-02 season, he competed in the NDBLwith Fayetteville, with Grand Rapids of the CBA and with the Venezuelan club Cocodrilos de Caracas.

MARTIN MUURSEPP [#45 • FORWARD • 6-9 • 235]Muursepp was a first round draft pick of the Utah Jazz in the 1996 NBA Draft. His draft rights were later

traded to the Miami Heat. He started the 1996-97 season with the Heat before being traded to Dallas inFebruary. Muursepp has been playing Europe since the 1998 NBA lockout. He last played for Dynamo Moscow ofthe Russian League in 2002-03.

KENDRICK PERKINS [#43 • CENTER • 6-10 • 280]Perkins was selected in the first round (27th overall) of the 2003 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies and

was then traded to the Celtics along with Marcus Banks in a draft night trade. As a high school senior, Perkinsaveraged 27.5 points, 16.4 rebounds and 7.8 blocks per game. The Celtics will use Perkins as a main low postoption in summer league and give Perkins every opportunity to show his skills.

LUKE RECKER [#39 • GUARD/FORWARD • 6-6 • 210]Recker went undrafted, out of Iowa, in the 2002 NBA Draft, but signed with the Miami Heat as a free

agent August 15, 2002. He spent the 2002-03 season with the Ashville Altitude of the NBDL. Recker averaged8.9 points in 18.7 minutes per game with Ashville.

BRUNO SUNDOV [#41 • CENTER • 7-2 • 246]The Celtics will be looking at Bruno Sundov to prove he can play more minutes in 2003-04. In his first

season with the Celtics, Sundov averaged 1.2 points per game in 26 appearances. Sundov will get the chance toshow he can play defense and rebound in summer league, while being a top shooter for the Celtics.
