2012 is already on and we are getting closer to our First National Conference of the Year.
This conference join the strenght and power of the Growth Meeting with the New and Unique Directions our LCPs will bring with NPM.
The purpose here is to get what it takes to MOVE! We are facing 2015 and we know we need to do more, to create more impact and to apply all the innovation it takes to take AIESEC in Brazil to the path of 2015!
So we invite you to share, to learn, to challenge yourself and to start the brilliant 2012 work NOW!

About the ConferenceBut what exactly is NPM?
NPM is the National Presidents Meeting of AIESEC, where the legal representatives of all the Entities of AIESEC in Brazil meet, with the objective of aligning and building the national directions and analyze the results achieved of the network of AIESEC in Brazil. From the definition of new strategies for the network to structural changes on the National Compendium, everything is made at NPM. It is realized twice a year, and it guarantees that the organizational goals and objectives in our country are aligned with the AIESEC International interests. It is fundamental to evaluate the Organisation as a whole and to guarantee that the values and the essence of AIESEC are being respected and followed. It is a moment of intense sharing of experiences, for the positive ideas to be brought to the Local Comittees.
About the ConferenceAnd GM??
The Growth Meeting is a National Conference of AIESEC in Brazil with the main objective of empowering the leaders and developing the ideas to deliver higher impact. It´s the first Conference of the year and its most important characteristic is the opportunity to share and analyze the first experiences of 2012 and build positive strategies and innovative ideas for the rest of the year. The sessions are mostly separated by tracks, which allows the leaders to have a chance to integrate more and be much more capacitated and motivated to increase the results. It´s a moment when the new leaders realize the big challenge they had taken and that there´s is still a whole year coming through. At GM, there is a strong ideia of movement. “Don´t wait until the next Conference to start working, let´s act today”. Certainly there is a huge development of the network after a Growth Meeting. Work hard is the rule.

How to arrive at the Tietê Bus Station
From SãoPaulo/Guarulhos InternationalAirport:
Take the bus (link on the links to check timetables) 257or 299 to arrive in Tatuapé bus station, the final stop. You can take them on Airport or Helio Smidt bus station. The fare for this buses is R$4,05 and there is no need to book in advance, you pay the driver before the departure. As you reach Tatuapé station, take the metro bound to Palmeiras-BarraFunda and drop off at Sé station. Take the connecting train heading to Tucuruvi station (line blue). Drop off at Tietê station.
How to arrive at the Tietê Bus Station
From SãoPaulo/Campinas -Viracopos International Airport:You can take a bus from the airport to Sao Paulo -Tietê Bus Terminal. Buy a ticket from “Viação BonaVita” for R$22,80. Check departure times on the following link: http://bit.ly/sA4pY0.

How to get directly to the site of the ConferenceGetting on the Tiete Bus Terminal, in São Paulo, you have two options :
1 - Take the line 375, for R$6,70 or 042 for R$4,10 to Mairiporã. Get down in Pietro Perri Avenue, in front of Ipanema Supermercados, Terra Preta District (in case of doutbs, ask the bus driver). It takes about 1 hour and a half or more.
2 - Go to the ticket office of Viação Atibaia and buy a ticket for R$10,00 to Terra Preta district. Get down in the “stop of Terra Preta” (ask the bus driver), on Fernão Dias highway. This will take about 40 minutes.
How to get directly to the site of the Conference
When you get in one of these two places, the best way to go to the Hotel is by taxi cab. They are going to take 15 minutes and it will cost +/- R$15,00
Or...For those of you who will arrive friday night, the OC has established a partnership with a Taxi Driver, who will fare this trip by 130R$ only. Contact the OC for more info!

About what to wear...Use confortable clothes, like jeans, shorts, flipflops,

Keep all your things organized in your bedroom so you won´t lose anything.
When you leave the bedroom, make sure your things are safe: lock them!
If you like to eat snacks during the day, take some with you, too.
Watch out!
Take care of your personal objects and avoid taking highly priced objects to the hotel
The hotel, OC on Fire and MC Hive are not responsible for any loss of belongings of delegates.
The room will be clean periodically, so keep your stuff in your luggage, when leaving the room.
Now let´s talk about money...
It is expected from the delegates to have enough money to cover their expenses during their stay in the hotel (cover eventual taxi, party drinks, extra snacks, conference products–shop). Hotel will provide a shop to sell bevarages. There are no electronic banks inside the hotel, neither payment with credit cards are accepted. Therefore all transactions are made by paper money. The OC is not responsible neither authorized to go to Mairiporã to cash out Money for delegates. Fee will not be allowed to pay during the event .

Participation Certificates
If you need a certificate attesting that you participated in the conference National Presidents and Growth Meetings 2012 (don’t be confused with the attestation of participation which is supposed to be used to justify an absence for any activity in order to attend the conference), send an e-mail to the OC ([email protected]) with object “Certificado”, and write in the body of the message your complete name and your responsibility (VP or LCP, Incoming or Outgoing, others). The certificates will be send during or just after the conference.
