Deux projets sur les notions d’intégration urbaine et de concept dans des quartiers emblématiques de la ville de Lyon : les pentes de la Croix-Rousse, un quartier dense et très pentu ; le quartier de la Part-Dieu qui est le quartier d’affaire de Lyon.

Faire de cet îlot une apparition mys-térieuse pour attirer les passants... Le mystère est alors créé en retournant les codes architecturaux du quartier à la manière des surréalistes.

Transformer un quartier industriel enclavé en quartier d’habitation : en mettant le quartier en tension entre deux espaces publics et en favorisant la perméabilité du quartier en ouvrant les coeurs d’îlots et en les transformant en chemins piétons verts.

Open the housing on the walking path and access it by extending the greenway to the housing.

Donner un bâtiment emblématique au nouveau quartier (projet précé-dent). Faire de ce bâtiment un signal urbain le long du tram, une porte d’entrée du quartier et l’outil de liaison entre deux quartiers à la cohabi-tation quasi inexistante.

The building is organized in « cultural strata « which, by sets of offsets hollow joints and overlaps , then lives to the rhythm of the tram. The strata are then wound around a central courtyard. The latter located at the convergence of arts, serves as an exhibition place and hosts cultural events.

UN CENTRE CULTURELCULTURAL CENTER
A landmark building for the new neighborhoods (previous project). Making this building an urban signal along the tram, a gateway and a bond between two neighborhoods where cohabitation is almost nonexistent .

Le bâtiment s’organise en «strates culturelles» qui, par des jeux de décalages, de joints creux et de chevauchements, ani-ment le bâtiment au rythme du tram. Les strates s’enroulent ensuite autour d’une cour intérieure centrale. Cette dernière, posée à la convergence des arts, sert de lieu d’exposition temporaire et accueille des évènements culturels.

To Build in wood in a field, using the umbrella roof technique : a hou-sing separate from the roof, which is settled at the beginning of the work, protect it from the elements , thus reducing construction costs.
Ambert est une petite ville du massif central cherchant à lutter contre le vieillissement de sa population. Proposer des logements étudiants intelligents, à bas coût, et respectueux de l’environne-ment est donc une de ses priorités.
L’habitat ensuite est composé d’une ossature bois et de panneaux préfabriqués. Le chantier est donc rapide, et de moindre impact sur le site.

Ambert is a small town in the french Massif Central, trying to cope with the aging of its population. To offer intelligent student hou-sings at low cost , which respect the environment, is a priority .
Contruire en bois, dans une prairie en utilisant la technique du toit parapluie : un toit distinct de l’habitat, qui, mis en oeuvre au début du chantier, le protègera des intempéries, réduisant les coûts de construction.
The housing is then composed of a timber frame and prefabricated panels. The construction is fas-ter, and has less impact on the site.

Nous nous sommes inspirés d’une structure simple : les tréteaux. Puis nous avons creusé l’idée : des tréteaux de différentes formes, des tréteaux de différentes tailles, des tréteaux utiles qui pourraient abriter les espaces servants (cuisines, salles de bain).

We were inspired by a simple structure : the trestles . We then explored this idea : trestles of different shapes, different sizes, useful trestles that could house the servant spaces (kitchens, bathrooms ) .

Construire dans l’existant en y insérant une stucture acier. Couper le bâtiment d’une faille éclairant les circulations. Agrandir l’existant en remplaçant sa toiture double pente par une serre dont les ouvertures reprennent le dessin de la faille.

CONCEPT
Build in the existing by inserting a steel stucture. Cut a loophole in the building to enlight the hall. Enlarge the existing, replacing its gabled roof by a greenhouse with openings which remind the drawing of the loophole .

Tout d’abord, le Workshop Lacharette, avec pour thématique de faire une installation dans les anciennes fortifications Vauban de Grenoble (la Bastille) en utilisant les matériaux laine et brique.
Le prix Sikkens, ensuite, por-tant sur l’utilisation de la cou-leur dans des installations.

First, the Lacharette Workshop, with the theme of making an ins-tallation in the former Vauban fortifications of Grenoble ( FRANCE ) using wool and brick materials .
Then the Sikkens prize on the theme of color use in art instal-lation .
