Boarding School in Gujarat

Vatsalya International, Borsad, is a day cum residential school that has a state-of art residential facility for both boys and girls. At present there are 106 students, majority being NRIs, staying at the campus under the parental care of Mr. Osborn Serpes (Rector) and Mrs Mandakini Shigvan (Matron) along with other support staff. The residents get hot water for bathing, RO treated water for drinking, air-conditioned rooms, telephone facility and food canteen and movie shows every Saturday and one outing once a month.

The hostel children enjoy a homely atmosphere and learn life skills and values through activities like Boarders Talent show, Best out of Waste, Health and hygiene education. They also learn to spin various recopies without cooking through programs like salad decorations to name a few.

Dear Parents,

This is to bring to your kind notice that hence forth you would have to follow the instruction given below very strictly from dated 11/06/2014

You are not permitted to take your child out of the hostel for any reason without leave sanctioned from the office at least three days in advance. We will consider in emergency situations that are acceptable.

You are not allowed to come and meet your child any time without obtaining permission from the school office except last Sundays of every month.

You are requested not to call the Hostel Warden/Matron on their personal phones for any work regarding your child during the week days except Sundays unless there is an emergency.

You are requested to follow the schedule of the school calendar strictly especially for pick-up and drop during vacations and short breaks. If not you will have to pay a fine of Rs 1000/- for not reporting on time or for early leave per day for which we are not in favour.

Parents are not requested to enter the hostel premises at any time of the year except during the admission or if given special permission by the school office.

Children are allowed to have only dry-fruits with them in the dormitories and no other food items are permitted.

Children are not allowed to have expensive watches or electronic items in the boarding. If they have, it will be solely on their risk.

Parents are requested to provide their personal E-mail Id to the Warden or Matron in order to have a timely interaction.

Parents are requested to please see that your Child has a proper hair cut as per the School requirement.
