“Our clientele are emotionally tied to their homes – inside and out,” says Chris. “The development process is very emotional. It’s not about imparting my design expertise as much as it’s about what our clients desire to experience in their outdoor space, whether that be the luxury of a lagoon inspired playful resort, the formality of a manicured es-

tate garden or a wooded retreat remi-niscent of their European homeland.”

This knowledge allows them to devel-op a design language tailored to each client and project with a site-specific master plan and connect design ele-ments with construction techniques.

“Our approach is to incorporate the entire site and residence into a cohe-sive milieu,” says partner Gina Baffo. “In Southern California, the lines be-tween indoor and outdoor spaces are blurred. Redefining the livable square footage of a residence to entail out-door environments is our forte.” In ad-dition to collaborating on site design, Gina provides finish design services for BlueSky clients.
