The Challenge:

While Alcohol Delivery, Singapore had great history within their existing PPC campaigns, comprehensive restructuring and cleanup of their account was needed in order to further optimize and increase online sales. We also needed innovative ways to expand their Advertising efforts in order to maintain their status as a major player in their field. In Dec 2012, Alcohol Delivery, Singapore appointed BlueBit Systems to manage its Firm Adwords Advertising, based on a PPC Quote which we had provided the previous month. At that time, Alcohol Delivery was spending >$2,000 per month on Adwords and earning new customers at an average cost of which has no data.

With the ultimate goal of increasing Form Submissions and Calls month over month, Alcohol Delivery

came to BlueBit Systems for proven success in managing Online Marketing campaigns using an integrated approach to get right leads/ customers which they were not getting before.

Goals:

Solution: The PPC campaigns were carefully audited and major issues were identified, including:

Restructuring Alcohol Delivery Adwords Ad Account:

By mid-Jan we completed our Adwords account restructuring for the Firm. The improved Adwords account was reorganized into about 8-10 ad groups. A thorough keyword search was carried out which resulted in a revised Adwords advertising account structure which today has over 100 keywords, organized in 11 ad groups, with almost 15 live ads and a custom tailored list of over 100 negative keywords on each campaign and near 50 negatives per ad group. Over the first 15 days, we completed a top to bottom restructuring of the account. This includes- creating individual Campaigns for the Products, creating ad groups for almost 10 individual products. These ad groups were comprised of about more than 25 keywords each. These all had the very specific product descriptions. For each ad group, our PPC guys wrote four unique ads targeting individual product pages. Along with this developed a custom list of negative keywords too. This was done to avoid displaying ads for related but tangential search phrases. With respect to structuring, we launched a separate campaign. Instead of targeting general keywords we selected specific keywords. For those specific keywords we targeted to special landing pages rather than Home Page. This helped end- users to land on the exact product page. Campaigns were broken out by Product Category, Platform (Search versus Content). This was done in order to have better control on the spending and track results. The requirement of the hour was to create a campaign that is more Product- Based and research for keywords that generate sales. Also introducing more negatives to control the budget and improved CTR (Click through Rate); concurrently creating effective Ad texts for the Campaign too. Along with this, we initiated a series of multivariate tests. The objective of these tests was to establish a trend and study the end- user behavior so that we could have better understanding of the behavior pattern.
