The Daughters of Cacophony are arather new world phenomena despite theirClassical name. No Kindred claims to haveheard of them before the 1700s by thatname, and if they had existed, vampires feelsure they would have known. The Daughtersare such masters of song that most Kindredbelieve incorrectly they are an offshoot ofthe Toreador, though those who have beenon the receiving end of their powers thinkthat Malkavians had more influence. Thetruth of the matter is that the Daughtersare an offshoot of the Baali line, created bythem to do what they do. This would explainsome of the mind twisting kicks that theDaughters get into.

The Daughters of Cacophony aredefinately singers without peer, but theirmelodious harmonies are not theirmain claimsof fame. It is the damage their songs can doto themind that causes the Kindred concern.

The Toreador are of two minds in theirdealings with the bloodline. While they cannot deny that the Daughters have incredibleskill in their chosen art of music, more thanone Toreador has been forever twisted byone disjointed note. The Daughters' songscan be as horrid as they can be beautiful, and there is no way to know their intentionsuntil they act.

The few Daughters and Baali that knowthe secret origins of this bloodline are verysilent about what they know, telling onlythose they trust completely, if at all. This iswhy the kindred population as a whole has noidea the true origins of the sirens, and thosewho know the truth like to keep it that way.

Elise held an unspeakable hatred ofone Toreador by the name of Prete afterthis, blaming him for her curse, of coursethe mind-twisting done by the Baali did nothelp matters.Whatever the facts are, Elisewanted Prete banished from this existenceforever and was willing to expend everyounce of her power in order to secure hisdemise.

She began in France by gathering a small, select group of rather obscure but extremelytalented singer-gypsies. All of her childerwere female, perhaps because Elise did nottrust males much after what happened toher because of one at the hands of many, perhaps because females at that time wereseldommissed, particularly those of commonbirth and destitute heritage. She dubbed her

protege The Sisters of Symphony.

The first Kindred whos voice was thevery source of her power appeared at thedawn of the 14th century. Little is known ofthis beautiful singer; her namehas comedownto us as Elise. The namesake Daughter ofCacophony was not applied to her at thetime, nor was it ever, yet today those fewwho know of her existence consider her tobe the originator of the bloodline. She was afair mortal maiden who had the bad fortuneto fall in love with a Toreador by the nameof Prete who returned her affections.

Prete had many enemies, Elise later tobecome one herself. The Baali in the areasaw the love between kindred and kine as ablasphemous action against all Cainites. It isunclear the reaction of any of the other clansif they knew about the two of them. TheBaali had their ghouls and demons attack oneday whilst Prete was sleeping and kidnappedElise, taking her back to their lair. Aftertorturing the child of Seth, they discoveredher beautiful voice as she sat in her cell andsang to herself to stay calm. They decidedto strike back at Prete by embraceing herand twisting her gift into somethingmonstrosic and fearful. They embraced herin a ritual involving a silver chalice rumoredto have been owned byShaitan himself. Theyfilled the chalice with each of their bloodand drained the mortal during the ritual, forcing her to drink the chalice and thusbecoming kindred like her lover.

Elise gave chase, but she was foiled bythe sudden and unexpected appearance ofher nemesis, Prete. The Toreador elder sawan opportunity to gain leverage against hisformer lover and present arch-enemy, andtook Selene under his protection and to hisprivate estate.

Elise wasn't about to give up so easilyon her immortal enemy or on her waywardchilde either. In the latter part of the 14thCentury, Elise attempted to destroy Preteonce and for all. She stole onto his estatewith a few select of her childer and theirchilder while hewas recovering from a rathergrueling bout with the anarchs who werestruggling to take control of Paris andlaunched a bold attack against him. WhileSelene held most of the other Sisters ofSymphony at bay, Elise was confronted byone of Prete's ghouls, an English woman bythe name of Diana. The battle was as briefas it was fierce, and Elise was foiled in herattempt on Prete's unlife only by the factthat she did not expect amere ghoul to fightso fiercely and so well for her Master. Still,Elise won out and mortally wounded Diana, indeed, she would have killed her, except forthe arrival of Selene who, with a rallyingPrete, managed to drive Elise and her forcesaway into the darkness.

Of Alyssa's many "recruits", only onehad the fortitude and presence of mind toresist her power. Selene DeVici was fourmonths pregnant at the time she was chosenby Elise, and although her voice was that ofa shadowed angel, she refused the Dark Giftfor the sake of her unborn child.

Not one to accept rejection gracefully,Elise bided her time until Kitra was readyto give birth. She burst into the girl'sbedchamber, slew themidwife, and embracedSelene even as her child's first cries rentthe midnight air.Selene, however, surprisedElise by retaining enough self-will to fleewith her baby into the night.

The other Daughters who affiliatedthemselves with the bloodline followedDiana's dictation and took great pains toEmbrace those of great talent yet littlereknown, a tradition which is carried on tothis day.

Until late in the 18th Century, theDaughters were an exclusively female biasedbloodline. Diana changed this during a visitto her native England in the 1700s when she,in the throws of passion, Embraced a man by

thenameofJonathanDrake. Inhonor ofthis first, andDianasway ofexac t i n gher rule, most ofthe malemembersofthe newbloodl inewere calledBaritonesregardless

of their vocal classification. Since that timehowever all male members have been weededfrom the ranks of the bloodline in anotherofDianas powerhungry moves, it is rumoredthat one of the less naivemalemembers thatwas embraced refused to bed with her andin her rage at not getting what she wanted, she ordered the death of all of the maleswithin the bloodline. Her other childer, afraid of the tyranous wrath of their sireobeyed and within a year the bloodline hadbeen pruned of all masculine influence.

Diana lay dying, and Selene chose topreserve her existence in this world the onlyway possible: by the Embrace. Diana thendeveloped her own singing and performingabilities alongside Selene, and the pair tooka name for themselves that was a deliberateslap in the face to their progenor Elise. Theyerroniously called themselves the Daughtersof Cacophony.

As the fame of the two accomplishedsingers spread, particularly word of howtheymanaged to hold off Elise and her groupof finest hand-picked followers, several ofthe Sisters of Symphony abandoned theirsire. While Prete explored the New Worldand built a rather promising new city there, the refugees from Elise's elder group madecontact with Selene and Diana in France, suing for peace. Once the rather insane anddominating duo determined the petitionerswere indeed sincere in their quest for peacebetween the two factions, they accepted theoffer, and shared their eronious name withthe newcomers. Thus the bloodline wasformed.

This is where the vast majority ofDaughters make their home. For reasons notcompletely understood, mostmake their homeeither on the East Coast or in California. There is a fairly high concentration alongthe central Gulf Coast, ranging all the wayfrom the Florida panhandle to just west ofNew Orleans. A typical Daughter will moreoften than not either own or at least beclosely associated with a small club with anexclusive clientele. Although the bloodlineas a whole claims absolute neutrality, theirnumbers seem equally divided between theCamarilla and the Sabbat. A recentupsurging of the Daughters seems to havelately been centered around New England,SalemMassachusetts alone has 6 Daughtersmaking up a lot of the kindred populationthere.

Whilst this was going on, Elise and herSisters of Symphony, what was left stayedaround Paris and later Germany. During thistime is when a young composer by the nameof Ludwig Van Beethoven felt a rather strongattraction to this strange and beautifulwoman and composed a score just for her, thus FurElise was written.

TheDaughters havemore than tripledtheir number since the beginning of the 20thCentury. They can be found on almost everycontinent, but are most common in the NewWorld. Some Daughters have even utilizedmass media to gather acclaim, though thispractice is generally frowned upon. Most ofthe older members consider their music tobe far too refined for the general masses toappreciate.

The Daughters are a small bloodline, centered mainly in the New World, and themembers Embrace only those who show realsinging talent. Most create no more than oneor two childer. The childer learn from theirsires for years before being released intothe world.

The Daughters go to great lengths toavoid Embracing anyone of wide reknown, but most of the members were beginningpromising careers in music at the time of theEmbrace. They, of course, retain their loveof performance, but performmainly for eachother and for their small Herds. They keeptheir Fame minimal, but often find the lureof small clubs too much to ignore. Hearingsuchaperformancecanbequite an unmatchedexperience for anyone.

While it seems that they abide by theMasquerade, Daughters can be found in boththe Camarilla and the Sabbat. Some Kindredinsist the Daughters have undying loyalty towhatever sect rules the city in which theyreside. For instance, one famous Daughter,Sayshila, is known to have stopped a Sabbatattack on a Miami concert house. On theother hand, she is believed to have driven aGangrel anarch mad after the pair spent anight together howling at the moon.

They have no formal organization, butyounger members generally follow the leadof the older, more talented members out ofrespect. Occasionally a small number ofDaughters gather to give a concert of greatbeauty.

Mortals:They are necessary to our veryexistence, for their blood gives us our life.Performing for themcanbe amusing, althoughthey cannot appreciate the true beauty ofour skill.

The Inquisition: Sometimes the bestplace to hide is in plain sight.

The Camarilla: It is an ivory columnthat does little for us other than providesometime patrons. Their rigid rules is whatmade us leave Paris and Europe in the firstplace, why in the world would we join forceswith them now? They are one of the worstsects trying to keep everyone under theircontrol whether they want to be or not.

99999 Bloodlinebook: Daughters of Cacophony

Page 13: Bloodlinebook Daughters of Cacophony

The Sabbat: They try so hard to beevil it's almost amusing. If they only knew! All music needs structure, and their chaosand preoccupation with power and vengencecreates disharmony and discord.

The Inconnu: They have totally losttouch with reality. What good is immortalexistence if no one is around to appreciateyou?

Assamite: Good at what they do, butrather extreme formy liking. Their reaquiredtaste for blood, particularly Kindred blood, could prove dangerous. Don't let them gettoo close.

Brujah: Their passion is admirable, andthey are quite capable of making their pointknown, but they cant grasp that there aremore subtle and powerful ways to make yourvoice heard.

Followers of Set: Everyone speaks oftheir poison and corruption. We can do wellenough on our own without needing to riskany association with them.

Gangrel:They hear themusic of nature, but they lose themselves in it more than wedo at times. They may not understand thesubtleties of our song, but they can feel itssoul.

Giovanni: Let them keep away from me,or they may be conversing with the spiritsas one of them. They serve no interests buttheir own, and there is always a hiddenagenda.

Lasombra: Not to be trusted, to saythe least, but let them play with their littleshadows if it makes them happy.

Malkavian:True genius requires at leastsomemadness, but they seem to have gone abit too far. They talk the most, but eventhey do not comprehend the true potentialof the voice. Or perhaps it is simply thatthey listened too closely...

Ravnos:These tricksters have their ownmotives, be on guard. Illusions are all welland good; they make good distractions, buttrue power lies in the voice.

Toreador: They would like to see us asthey are; little do they realize how vastlydifferent we are. They lose themselves intheir arts, but they see only the superficialbeauty. Best to humor them, most of themare ill-prepared to handle the true depthsof our art.

Tremere:Their structure and disciplineare admirable. They find magic in blood aswe find magic in music. They, too, know whatit means to struggle for a place in Kindredsociety, and their success gives us hope.

Tzimisce: The Fiends work theirfleshcraft and remain stuck in the past. Theyrefuse to hear themusic that compels us intothe future. Let them work their flesh andbone; we touch the soul.

Ventrue:They are excellent patrons andare most often able to at least pretend toappreciate our voice better than most. Theyhave vision, but too often they lack the soulto truly appreciate the music of our world.

Caitiff:It's a shame these castoffs cantfind a place, but I suppose they really hadno choice in the matter. If only they couldhear themusic...

Background:Anyone Embraced into thisbloodline will have a very beautiful voice(Enchanting Voice Merit), but does not haveto be a professional musician. Still, most wereor do become so afterwords.

Character Creation: the Daughters ofCacophony almost always have entertainmentoriented Concepts. They split their mostpopular Natures between Visionary andPraise-Seeker, although they may take anyDemeanor. Social Attributes and TalentAbilities are almost always primary. Theyalways have at least some Fame, but can haveany other Backgrounds they desire. Most willalso have herds forwhomthey perform.Manyof themhave developed the Baby FaceMerit, particularly those who interact frequentlywith the public. With this fame, even if it isonly minor, comes wealth.

Appearance: The sirens vary widely inappearance, from rail-thin waifs to rotundopera divas.

Members of the bloodline affect clothesand manners that befit their musical niche:theDaughtershave their share of leathercladpunkband frontwomen, satin-dressed pianoingenues and everything in between. Recently, the remaining few loyal to Elise seem to befocusing on tall slender beautiful women andhave become even more selective in theirembrace of others.

Disciplines: Fortitude, Melpominee,Presence

Weaknesses: The Daughters are socaught up in their music that they hear itconstantly.

As a result of the annoying distraction, the difficulties of all her Perception rollsare increased by one. Additionally, aDaughter'sAlertness canneverexceedthree.

Gaining Blood Status: The easiest wayto gain Prestige among the Daughters isthrough your musical ability. Some rumorsspeculate that Daughters also gain Prestigebased on the number of Kindred their musichas driven crazy.

Please note that at least one point inMusic Ability (Singing) is a requirement tomasterMelpominee. If an unknowing Kindredwith no musical ability attempts to learnMelpominee, he must first make a roll ofManipulation + Wits at a difficulty level of8. If he succeeds, then he gains one level ofMusic Ability and may learn the Discipline. If he fails, he cannot grasp the nuances ofMelpominee and must buy a point in MusicAbility before attempting again.

If he botches, he is given a permanentDerangement related to music (constantlyhearing music) and may never learnMelpominee until thatDerangement is boughtoff and one level of Music Ability (singing)is purchased.

The Melpominee Discipline appearedsimultaneously with the Daughters, and it isintrinsically linked to that bloodline only.It allows its possessors to use speech andsong for a variety of supernatural effects.

Named for Melpomene, the GreekMuse of tragedy, the unique Discipline oftheDaughters of Cacophony is one of speechand song. The powers of this Disciplineexplore the various uses of the voice forbenefit and harm. As is the case with mortalart, it is not always clear which of thosedirections these powers take. No charactermay ever have a rating in Melpominee higherthan her Music rating.

Melpominee affects the subject's soulas well as the ears; thus, it works perfectlywell on deaf subjects, and has caused at leastone known breach of theMasquerade due tothis effect. Additionally, the powers ofMelpominee work only on those who arepresent when it is used, Daughters cannot"encode" Melpominee effects onto compactdiscs or send them across radio signals.

A vampire with this power may "throw"her voice anywhere within her line of sight, even carrying on two different conversationssimultaneously (one with her Missing Voiceand one with her actual, physical one).Treacherous Daughters impersonate otherindividuals' voices in order to mislead herlisteners, and less devious members can usetheir two voices simultaneously to performhauntingly beautiful "duets" or eerie oneactress plays.

System: This power functionsautomatically as long as the character willsit. However, using The Missing Voice whileperforming any action other than speech orsinging incurs a penalty of two dice on thataction due to the disruption of thecharacter's concentration.

The Kindred may imbue her audiencewith the emotions she expresses in her song, rousing them to passion or delging themwithseemingly bottomless despair. Princes ongood terms with Daughters of Cacophonysometimeshaveoneof the songstresses croonbefore they make an appearance, bolsteringtheir fellow Kindred with a sense of loyalty.

System: The player rolls Charisma +Music (difficulty 7). Each success instillsthe chosen emotion in a fifth of theKindred'saudience (more than five successes have noadditional effect). The Storyteller decidesprecisely whichmembers of the audience areaffected. Characters may resist this powerfor the duration of the whole scene with theexpenditure of a Willpower point, but onlyif they have reason to believe that they arebeing controlled by outside individuals.

The song the vampire sings must alsoreflect the emotion she wishes to engender -- no one's going to mob the concert securityno matter how well she sings "High Hopes,"but they might if she wails "Cop-killer."

This is the Power that Kindred fearthe most. It reaches deep into it's victims'helpless souls to twist their psyches. Itcauses temporary insanity in it's victims.Malkavians and kindred that are in Golcondaare immune to Siren's Beckoning; the formerare too warped to be further affected, andthe latter are way too centered. Siren'sBeckoning can affect only one victim at atime.

System: Siren's Beckoning requires anextended and resisted roll. The player rollsManipulation + Music (difficulty of thetarget's willpower); the victim resists byrollingWillpower (difficulty of the singer'sAppearance + Music). When the siren singeraccumulates five more successes than hervictim at any point, the hapless soul acquiresa new derangement (or Psychological Flaw)of Storyteller's choice. This derangementnormally lasts for one night per success overfive. With a total of 20 net successes, theDaughtercanmake itpermanent.

Mortal singers can shatterwineglasseswith their voices by finding the precise pitchat which the glass resonates. A talentedDaughter of Cacophony can go beyond thedestruction of relatively fragile objects, changing the pitch of her voice to find theresonate frequency of virtually any object, including a human or Kindred body. Only onevictim at a time affected by this; anyone elsewithin range will hear apiercing, thoughnot tooharmful, shriek.

System: Use of this power requires thatthe victimbewithin hearing range (thosewithhearing difficulties, or Heightened Senses, are affected at the same range as any othervictim).

The player spends one blood point androlls manipulation + music (Difficulty of thetarget's Stamina + Fortitude). Each successinflicts one health level of agg. damage. Ifusing this power on an inanimate object, theStoryteller determines how many dice (ifany) with which the object may "soak" andhowmany successes are needed to completelyshatter it.

With this power, the Daughter canspeak or sing to the air and leave her wordsfor a later listener. This can be either thenext being to stand where the character iswhen she uses this power or a specificindivdual that she is already acquainted with.Persistent Echo can be used to "suspend"other Melpomineé powers for any certainfuture listener or victim.

System: The Daugher rolls Stamina +Music (difficulty 8) and spends a bloodpoint. Each success yields one turn of speechthat may be left to be heard later. If theplayer wishes to time-delay anotherMelpomineé power, the roll for that powermust bemade at +1 difficulty. This chart is simply adapted from theToreador Clanbook for use when charactersare actually performing their (less deadly)songs. It measures the combination of theirvoice and their advantage in singing.

System: For each success you receiveone more level of Presence against thetarget(s). Roll Music + Charisma, diff. WP -2 (-4 for Toreador).

Conversely, she may want to choose forit to fade away once it is heard for the firsttime. She may also leave it dormant until itis activated by the presence of a specificindividual with whom she is familiar. If theecho is made a one-time-only effect, alltraces of the powerdissapear onceherwordsecho to the intended recipient.

If a character uses Heightened Sensesin an area where an "unactivated" echo is inexistance, he will hear a faintmurmur. Threesuccesses on a Perception + Occult roll(difficulty 8) are necessary to hear all ofthe message, and a botch on this roll willdeafen the listener for the rest of the night.

good is a spectacular talent like mine if itsnot displayed for the appreciation of thosefortunate enough to hear?"

Prelude Your greatest dream fromchildhood was to be a star. When you weresmall, yourmotherwould often encourage youto sing for their company, and your favoritesubject in school was music. You knew thatsomeday you were destined for greatness, and you let everybody around you know it.

By the time you reached your teens, you were ready to make your dream cometrue. Unfortunately, the major recordingcompanies failed to beat a path to your door.Frustrated, you emptied the bank accountcontaining your college fund and headed forCalifornia. After five years of struggling, you were almost broke and desperate. Thenyou attracted the attention of a beautifulclub owner.

Concept You live for the music, and youlive for people to hear it. You will performat the drop of a hint and love praise (andtend to sulk when you don't get it). Althoughyour sire cautions you to keep a low profile, you still dream of one day being a star.

Roleplaying Tips Be sure that everyoneknows you're a singer, and that you love toperform. Accept any opportunity to showoff.

Equipment A portable stereo, microphone, and prerecorded backgroundmusic is key.

Quote "They have a saying in China...lovealways ends in tears."

Prelude Your parents separated whenyou were very small, and your mother gainedcustody of you. She sensed you had singingtalent and became the quintessential stagemother, parading you around from auditionto performance relentlessly. You had nofriends, only contacts; no playtime, onlyrehearsal; no schoolmates, only a terse oldtutor who drilled you in your lessons with aharsh tongue and relentless standards. Youwere overjoyed when, late in your teens, theoffers began to taper off. You longed forfriends, school, a normal life like any otherteenager. Yet your mother still insisted ondressing you as a child, and forbade you todate or give any hint that you were growingup. When you began to put on weight, sheput you on diet pills to which you becameaddicted to. The pills led to stronger, unprescribed substances. At nineteen youwere living on the street, a burned-out youngaddict, when you heard the most beautifulmusic you had ever known. It drew you likea moth to the flame to a small park, wherethe singer caught your eye, more importantly, you caught hers.

Concept You have a new addiction: TheMusic. It doesn't matter whether anyone islistening; you must sing, and you do. Almostconstantly. You burst into spontaneous songto express every emotion, and most of themare dark. You've never known happiness, andyour art reflects that.

Roleplaying Tips Dress in black a lot.Sing passages from Tori Amos or TrentReznor to punctuate your conversations.

Equipment A razor blade on a chainaround your neck. A guitar or a portablekeyboard to make music.

The first acknowledged Daughter ofCacophony, although she herself neverclaimed the name. After her failed attempton her sire Prete's existence, she retreatedto Switzerland and continued to gather herpromising singers from around Europe. Theseperformers, faithful to Elise, also calledthemselves Daughters in order tomovemoreeasily about in Kindred society. In the early1990s Diana made one final brave strikeagainst Elise and thought herself successful.Elise was rescued at the last moment by aTrue Brujah, proving the rumor that she wasa member of the True Black Hand.

Selenewas an early fancy of the Frenchcomposers. She performed inmany very smalltheater houses and she was soon directed toperform for the King himself, Louis XIV. Thelovely and talented singer attracted themonarch'swandering eye, and likemany otherbeauties of the French Court, she becamepregnant with Louis' child. Illegitimacy washardly a stigmawhen the fatherwas the rulerof the country. He promised to provide wellfor Selene and to legitimize their child aswell. Suddenly, she was approached by Eliseand offered a chance at having immortality.Mindful of her unborn child, Selene refused.Months later, as Selene was helpless in thethroes of childbirth, Elise appeared in herbedchamber, murdered the poormidwife andEmbracedSelene right then, even as her childwas being born. Selene had an incredibleamount of willpower and fled into the nightwith her newborn. Elisewould have reclaimedher at once except for the unexpected andunwanted appearance of Prete, who took thefledgling and her mortal offspring into hiscare. For many years Selene was devoted tohim, even calling him "Father".

She also formed a close bond withPretes ghoul, Diana, a bond which onlystrengthened after she embraced her. Atsome point later in the 20th Century, however, Selene discovered a very terriblesecret about her beloved "father". She foundout the truth that Elise had been abductedand embraced because of him, and he carednot for her since. She turned against him asa result of it. Although she maintains a closeassociation with Diana, her childe, she hasbeen known to take actions against Preteand currently declares herself his enemy.Selene disappeared several years ago andhas not been seen since, very possibly due tothe backstabbing Diana.

She was born Diana Stuart in 1575,granddaughter of Henry VII, great-niece ofHenry VIII, and first cousin to James, heirto the throne of Scotland. Her parents diedof amysterious wasting diseasewhen shewasvery young, and her grandmother, Bess, wasdetermined to see her upon the throne ofEngland as Elizabeths heir.

Bess was being controlled by Prete, whosaw a chance to give himself power and triedhis best to get Diana, his new ghoul on thethrone so that hemight declare himself Kingof England.

Diana, being infected with the blood ofPrete became powerhungry herself, usingeveryone she could for as much as she couldand then tossing them aside, or killing themif they would not go quietly. Her attemptedmurders on both her sires sire Elise, andlater upon her sire Selene herself were as aresult of her insane jealousy and need tocontroll everything.

In 1999, Pasqua, now going by the nameof Poison, amassed her three childer, her onegrandchilde, her ghoul, and her wife forbackup stormed into a performance given byDiana herself in London to right the wrongsthatDiana had caused to the bloodline.

The battle was over quick, with Eliseshowing up to watch her progeny take backthe honor of the blood from the madwoman.

Prete himself was killed when helaunched an attack towards Poison and herfirst childe, Annette. He managed to stakePoison to the ground after the suprise firststrike. Annette was able to kill him andbring her sire back around, thus ending oneand for all the tyrrany of Diana. For herchilder that she did not kill herself wereturned against her actions and stake no claimto her.

Born in 1347, she is, aside from Elise, the eldest living of the bloodline. She wasborn near London England, to an English man,and a Sicillian woman. Her father shippedher and her mother back to Sicilly shortlyafter her birth. She lived in Naples withher uncle until the age of twenty two, whenshe happened apon Elise and her small groupof female singers, and followed them to Paris,France. They told her that she could be asinger along with them. They agreed that shehad the talent, she just needed the training.

She was Embraced less than a yearafter joining with the group, and gave herfirst solo that next night. She met with awoman named Shakti after her performancethat night, and fell madly in love with thestrange vampire, spending the next 600 yearslooking for her.

In 1482 she met her first childeAnnette, and embraced her a year later, devoting her time and resources to this veryimportant piece of her life.

Her second childe came into the care ofthe Sisters of Symphony in 1589, a mere 13year old runaway. Poison trained her as bestshe could muster, knowing the pain this girlwas going through as she herself had been inthe same position a couple centuries ago. AtAnnettes behest, she embraced Nadja in1594, the day after her birthday when shecame to her sire-to-be and said shewas readyto be embraced and did not want to wait anylonger.

In the early 1700's she was still singingwith the group, entrancing rooms full ofpeople with their voices, and drinking fromthose they saw fit. Paris was controled byVentrue, but the Toreador were not too farbehind them. Just as the Toreador got theupper hand. The Ventrue, wanting to keepcontrol of Paris, andmany other of the placesthey controlled, decided to found somethingthey called 'The Camarilla'. The Sisters ofSymphony wanted nothing to do with thesepolitics. The Toreador tried to force themto join the Camarilla. And that is when sheleft, and came to the new world.

Taken up home in SalemMassachusettsin the mid 1700s, Poison has worked longand hard to build the area to her likings. Inthe past few years she has embraced herthird childeMeghan, found her other childerand Shakti and returned them all to Salem. With the attack launched on Diana, sheproves that she is trying to bring the oldfamily back together as they once were.
