5. Ammonia reagent kit requires Frequent calibration and running of standard solution to ensure stability, as the workload is less – this increases running cost

6. Reagent Kit has to be maintained at 2-8 degrees C. It requires immediate cold storage. Hence after sample processing the kit has to be immediately removed from the biochemistry analyzer and be kept in cold storage. If not the kit detoriates and causes incorrect results

7. The ammonia reagent kit once opened has a open stability period. As the no of ammonia samples are very less, labs finds its difficult to consume the entire pack size in that stable period. This ultimately causes wastage of reagents.

8. Ammonia reagents kits when used on Semi Auto Bio Chemistry analyzers require manual sample pre treatment – This process is very tedious
