The Learnings

Your Blogging Voice Keep typing, typos and all Publish first, check later Keep it real and local Blog as you would text

I have been taking a break today (after my exams this afternoon) laughing myself to “I Not Stupid”. Anyone still remember the movie?

Sorry for the detour, hor, but must do some other things, if not very boring one, leh :P

The past week has been an absolute tsunami for me (pun intended).... breathe, Raz, breathe. That's what I have been telling myself all week.

The Learnings

The Three Commandments Be hardworking – blogging is your other job Be diligent – blogging is your other passion Be useful – blogging is your other wisdom

If you can think of it, do it (i.e. the tsunami vs iPod fund)

Never afraid to experience (i.e. one community, 3 forums?!)

Go wide, go deep, keep clicking (i.e. 14 blogs)

The Learnings

Marketing Your Content Great content is a given This was before the age of Facebook, Twitter etc. Pull Factor: Be found (SEO, easy to link), be interesting

(text + photo + video + audio), be interactive (comments + tag board + forum)

Push Factor: RSS feeds, weekly newsletters, reach out to bloggers

The Learnings

Get Engaged Email, email, email… overload Gmail You are not a superhero, ask for help! Think content,

blogging, moderation… You build it, be a part of it (respond to comments, reply

to emails, chit chat in forum)

The Learnings

Get Offline!
