If relationships aren’t tricky enough
you got to throw in your political stance
which most couples don’t go into a re-
lationship thinking this is something
that needs to be considered. It’s new
and everything smells like roses even
his/her bad breathe in the morning.
Now perhaps because it’s an election
year it seems to be the educational
speaking point but do you count your
mate out if he/she has a different politi-
cal view than you? Typical answer is of
course not!! We are in love and love
will conquer all to get us through what-
ever.
Would you say this is a valid argu-
ment?? Sure it is. When you commit
yourself to another person you go into
that relationship with the hope of it
working out for the better and that the
love you have for one another can get
the two of you through any situation.
So how does your political view affect
your relationship to the point of a break
an up? It all goes back to communication
and not forgetting who you truly are when
you enter a new or are in a current rela-
tionship. When you are getting to know
someone don’t ask some things ASK
EVERYTHING!!! You want to know it
all and truly you NEED to know it all. It’s
just like the saying goes: From the rooter
to the tooter!! Everything right down to
their political views and do they coincide
with your views. Ask yourself this ques-
tion if I have a different belief in some-
thing as major as politics (Republican vs.
Democrat) than my partner then how will
this affect our lives?
How do we raise our children having dif-
ferent belief to then confuse them in an
already confusing system? These my
friends are questions you need to focus on
when you are speaking with your mate to
ensure you are on the right path to not on-
ly a successful relationship but a success-
ful life journey.
So how can my political stance be a dag-
ger in my heart and wind us up in a failed
relationship? Simply put you don’t com-
municate; you don’t relate which in turn
can cause a breakdown in the relation-
ship. Think about it. What is the number
one cause of failed relationships? $$$$$
Exactly those dollars!! If you are on op-
posite sides of a political party the way in
which you view money, assets, saving, etc.

one decides they rather save but the other
wants to be a shopaholic then my friends a
war against your relationship is on the rise.

At your new beginning!
Many of us have been there and done that. Meaning we have been down that lonely and sometimes still fun
road being alone. But when asked if we are alone we say no I am feeling great enjoying this time by myself. Well
what happens when that time is gone and there is no one there in the home but you. Yes you and your dog, cat, TV,
book, bottle of wine, liquor, beer… I can go on and on and on. It is lonely sometimes. But remember it is your time
and you’re at a new beginning in your life.
I had the pleasure of spending a long day and night with two beautiful women and they talked to me as if they
needed to let go and let it be heard. What is strange to me is how lonely they were! They were alone in this world or
so it felt that way to the both of them. But they had men that they so called loved and lived with. So why were they
so alone if they had a mate that they loved so dearly? Why are they here at my home crying and soaking their prob-
lems with Pinot and Chardonnay two bottles each? Why? Let me tell you why. One their men beat them and cheated
on them. Then made them feel as if they were nothing at all. This made me feel really bad for these two ladies. So
being a man I listen and spoke when they need my advice and encouraged them to seek self-happiness and self-pride
in themselves while re-reaching for their goals.
Women!!!!! If you are not in a relationship that is not, one productive and two loving! L.E.A.V.E! I have been
there myself with a woman that did not want more than what she had. Thus pushing me away because I want it all!
I state this because as I speak and have spoken to women I have found they too want it all, but you’re not going to
always get all that you want. So my suggestion is to focus on making you happy. If you’re not all together and happy
you should not be in a relationship that makes you feel even worse. Just go out and date! Do you! Party as much and
as little as you want too. A party does not have to be an all-nighter but it can be a dinner party with close friends or
taking yourself out. Women find your happy place and make sure it is all about you. Remember it is nothing wrong
with starting over. Sometimes it is where you need to be in life. At your new beginning!

that is if she is a good woman. If she is not then you are the one that will pre-
vail! I know this because GOD told me so and showed me so! Men find your

with starting over. Sometimes it is where you need to be in life. At your new

Family there is nothing wrong with a new beginning! Embrace it! Try
it if it deems necessary! But remember at this new juncture in your life you
have to be ready for all that may come your way. The Good The Bad and The
Ugly! Be at peace as we move forward into the holiday season…..I love you
