Irish-headquartered global specialty biopharmaceutical company originating in the United Kingdom and with a large operational base in the United States, with over $45B market capitalization on brands and various products which includes Vyvanse, Addreall XR, Intuniv, Lialda, Pentasa, Fosrenol, Replagal, Elaprase, VPRIV, Firazyr and Dermagraft, was looking to increase their high performance computing capabilities, their R&D leadership explored possibilities in the cloud . Cloud based computing resources had the potential to enable access to vast computing resources but it was a steep learning curve for an organization that had traditional on-premise data centers.

The Engagement

8K Miles did a thorough assessment of the client infrastructure and after understanding the various drivers and success factors, recommended a IT Business Transformation roadmap that addressed the organization priorities of the client.
