Grading Policy:

The scale below shows the relationship between your semester percent average and the letter grade you will receive. Slight deviations from this scale are possible if they seem advisable. A = 90% - 100% B = 80% - 89% C = 70% - 79% D = 60% - 69% E = Below 60%

Attendance Policy:

Since this is an Internet course, there is no attendance policy. However, assignments and exams will have due dates. It is recommended that students check the course several times weekly for announcements and updates.

Late Assignment Policy:

Assignments will not be accepted after the due date. However, the instructor reserves the right to extend due dates if necessary. The instructor also reserves the right to assess a late penalty on an assignment where the due date has been extended.

Withdrawal Policy:

A student may withdraw from this course from the last date that a student is eligible to drop a course without a grade, January 13, through mid-term, March 3, and receive a grade of “W”. After the mid-term date, the student must have the instructor’s permission to withdraw from the course. The last day that a student may withdraw with instructor permission and receive a grade of “W” is April 28. If a student decides to withdraw from the course, it is the student's responsibility to contact student services to make the necessary arrangements. Any student remaining on the instructor's roster at the end of the semester will receive a grade (A, B, C, D, or E) for the course. A student who is receiving financial aid needs to contact the financial aid office to discuss the effect that withdrawing from the course will have on the student’s financial aid.
