The International Biennale Artists MIAMI exhibition will take place at 2033 NW 1st Place Miami, FL 33127 from December 1 to December 20, 2010, Monday through Saturday from 11am-6pm. An Opening Vernissage will be held December 1 from 6-10pm.

My primary objective as director and chief curator of Nina Torres Fine Art is to honor artists whom have been previously selected to exhibit at the Biennale d’Arte di Firenze (Florence Biennale). This exhibition features artists who represent the following 17 countries: Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Lithuania, Mexico, The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The United States of America, and Venezuela. In addition, many of the participating artists have been awarded with The International Lorenzo the Magnificent Award in various categories and distinctions.

The Florence Biennale was founded in 1997 as a global convocation of artists with all their diversity. The Biennale believes in promoting respect and tolerance among the world’s artists. In 2001, the Biennale was recognized by the United Nations as an official partner in its program, Dialogue among Civilizations. Stefano Francolini Artist Director of the Biennale underscores this fact in saying that the, “Florence Biennale has accomplished increasingly the role of “forum” for dialogue among civilizations, a meeting point in the name of art and heritage, individually and collectively in the various civilizations: Culture. Furthermore, in my opinion, he who makes and produces art, is a catalyst for the principles that informs his time and enables it to communicate through a language that sums up in itself the intellectual values of culture.”

We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to our sponsors, the participants, curators and all of those who in one way or another contributed to the success of this exhibition which transcends geographic boundaries in order to partake in the dialog of art in the United States. All of these artists will undoubtedly leave their mark during Art Basel Miami Beach, when all eyes are on Miami.

Media and public are cordially invited to attend the exhibition as well as the Opening Vernissage. If you have any questions or would like more information about this event please contact us at [email protected] or visit www.internationalbiennaleartistsMIAMI.com.
