입학 지원자 여러분께,

베데스다 대학에 지원해주셔서 감사드립니다. 본교는 1976년 설립

후 오순절 신앙과 성서 중심의 교육 및 장학 프로그램으로 우수성과

전인성을 겸비하고 세계화를 선도하는 각 분야의 전문인을 양성하는

종합대학으로 발전해 나아가고 있습니다. 베데스다 대학의 학생들은

시대적 흐름에 창의적으로 적응할 수 있는 신앙과 학문을 접목시키는

예배의 삶을 가꾸어 나아가는데 필요한 성경과 신학의 포괄적인

지식을 습득하고 있습니다. 그러므로 본교는 신앙과 학문을 하나로

하는 교육을 추구하는 입학 지원자를 찾고 있습니다.

이에 따라 베데스다 대학은 지원자의 삶과 신앙의 헌신도, 학력 및

도덕적 성품을 평가하고자 합니다.

입학을 지원하려면:

1. 입학 지원서를 작성 하십시오. 모든 원서를 보기쉽게 기재하시고

시작하고자 하는 학기를 표기해주십시오.

2. 지원서 수수료를 미국내 지원자일 경우 $50, 해외 지원자일 경우

$100을 함께 동봉하십시오. 수표로 내실경우 받는이를 Bethesda

University 로 명시해주시고 지원자의 이름을 수표에 표기해

주십시오. 단 유학생인 경우 I-20 발행 수수료 $200 (단, 미국내

타학교에서 편입하는 경우는 $0)을 내셔야 합니다.

3. 가장 최근에 졸업한 학교의(ex. 고등학교, 대학교) 성적증명서와

이전에 재학했던 대학/대학원의 성적증명서를

제출하십시오. 지원할 당시 다른 학교에 재학중인 경우 현재 듣고

있는 과정이 포함된 성적증명서와 아울러 과정을 마친후

최종성적증명서를 추가로 제출해야 합니다. 성적증명서는

영문이어야 하며 봉인된 공식 성적증명서로 제출해야 합니다.

4. 여권 크기의 증명사진 2장(흰 배경)을 첨부하십시오.

5. 추천서 2장 (대학원 지원일 경우 3장)을 첨부 하십시오.

추천서는 학교주소가 적혀있는 봉투를 사용하여 추천인이 직접

학교로 보내야하며 추천인은 지원자의 가족외의 사람이어야

합니다.

6. 영문 또는 한글로 작성한 신앙간증문/지원자의 자기소개서를

첨부하십시오. (지원서안에 있는 설명 참조.)

7. 가장 최종으로 졸업한 학교의 졸업 증명서의 사본을

제출해야 합니다.

8. 모든 학생분들은 입학지원서에 있는 건강진단서 (간단한

혈액과 알러지 검사)를 제출해야합니다. (*유학생분들은 등록시

유학생 건강보험을 제출해야합니다.)

9. 유학생(F-1 신분)인 경우 재정 보증서와 은행 잔고증명서 (US

가족 교육 권리와 비공개법 (FERPA)

1974년에 제정된 미국 교육법인 “가족 교육 권리와비공개법안”

(FERPA)은 학기에 등록된 학생이 학생기록서류 중 일정한 성적 또는

증명 기록을 조회할 수 있는 권리를 허락하고 있습니다.

베데스다 대학은 학생기록서류 중 본인의 이전 고등학교 또는

대학교(편입일 경우) 성적증명서 또는 토플시험점수 및 그 외

학력정보의 학생기록을 조회할 수 있게 허락하고 있습니다.

Dear Applicant, We are thankful that you have decided to apply for admission to Bethesda University (BU). Since its founding in 1976, BU has been committed to providing a biblically-centered education, encouraging scholarship, and equipping men and women in the mind and character of Christ that they may impact the world for Jesus Christ. Students will fulfill a comprehensive foundation in the Bible, which is necessary in developing a life of worship and the ability to think as Christians within their respective disciplines. The university seeks students who desire an education that integrates their faith to their learning. Additionally, BU reviews applicants whose Christian commitment, academic record(s), and moral character reflect the university’s standards. To apply for admission: 1. File an Application for Admission. Complete all pages legibly. Specify when you plan to enroll. 2. Include a non-refundable $50 application fee ($100 for international students) payable by check or money order to Bethesda University. Please include the applicant’s name on the check. 3. Request official transcripts from your high school and from every school attended after high school graduation. If enrolled at another college/university at the time the application is filed, be sure to request transcripts of your completed units and your final transcripts upon the completion of the course of study whether it is high school or college. Transcripts must be submitted in a sealed envelope. 4. Submit TWO passport-sized color photos against a white background. 5. Request two recommendation letters (three for Graduate Applicants – forms are supplied). Forms must be addressed to the Office of Admissions. (References should be provided by individuals outside your own family who can attest to your academic ability.) 6. Submit a Christian Experience essay/Personal Statement. (Follow the guidelines given in the application). 7. Submit a diploma copy from the most recent school attended. 8. You must also submit a Medical Examination Clearance

report (simple blood & allergy test). 9. International Students must submit an Official Bank Statement, Affidavit of Support, I-20 App Fee ($200), F-2 Dependent Form, and proof of Health Insurance (at the time of registration). In addition to the requirements above, F-1 students who are already in the U.S. must submit a ‘Notice of Intent to Transfer’ form. The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) The Family Education Rights and Privacy of 1974 permits enrolled university students access to certain credentials in their files. Bethesda University has long permitted students access to their previous educational records, such as high school transcripts and college transcripts (if the student is a transfer).
