Specifications:Doors:Doors are 5 piece construction, plywood veneer, MDF, or 3/4" thick solid wood, depending on the style.Doors over 48”in height will be constructed with a center rail. Doors with mitered construction over 48”in height will be constructed of 2 doors peggedtogether.

Drawer Fronts:Drawer Fronts are 3/4" thick solid wood, 5 piece construction, plywood veneer, or MDF, depending on the style.

Drawers:Drawer box sides, front and back are 5/8" thick solidbirch dovetailed at all four corners. Drawer bottomsare 1/4" thick plywood. Drawer box is fastened tofront with screws and are lifetime guaranteed.

Drawer Slides:Drawer slides are an epoxy coated undermount, 3/4 extension, self-closing on nylon rollers for silentmovement. They are lifetime guaranteed and have a load rating of 75 pounds.

Upgrades:Undermount 3/4 extension Drawer Slides:Tandem Drawer slides are undermounted, 3/4 extension, and are mechanical self closing with aneasy release mechanism. They have a load rating of 100 lbs per pair. Additional upcharge of $26 list per drawer. Not available on rolltrays, condimentdrawers, or wall with drawers. Undermount Soft Motion Full Extension Drawer Slides:Drawer slides are full extension undermount, soft motion self closing with an easy release mechanism. They have a load rating of 100 lbs. perpair. Additional upcharge of $93 list per drawer. Not available on Roll Trays, Condiment Drawers or Wall With Drawers.Rolltray Upgrade:Rolltray slides are full extension undermount, self closing with an easy release mechanism. Frames:All frames are 1 1/2" X 3/4" solid wood.

Sides:Cabinet sides are 1/2" thick, 5-ply, veneer core plywood with natural birch woodgrain laminate interior. Exposed sides will match the wood specie ofthe cabinet ordered. Sides are fastened to the frontframe with glue using tongue and groove construc-tion.

Tops and Bottoms:Tops and bottoms of all wall cabinets and thebottoms of base cabinets are 1/2" thick particleboard substrate with natural birch woodgrainlaminate both sides. Tops and bottoms are glued andset into the sides and hanger rails.

Backs:Backs are 1/8" material with natural birch woodgrainlaminate.

Shelves:Shelves are 3/4" thick particleboard substrate with natural birch woodgrain laminate both sides and frontedge. Shelves are supported with plastic shelf supports and are adjustable on 32mm increments.

Toekick:1/2" plywood of the same wood specie as the cabinet ordered is supplied in 4 1/2" X 8' lengths, for the toekick.

Finish:All cabinets are hand sanded prior to staining. A penetrating grain stain is then applied and hand-wiped.

The sealer coat, which is a catalyzed conversioncoating, is sprayed and cured. This sealer is a blending of alkyd, amino and vinyl resins, which contributes to the overall durability of the system by penetrating the grain of the wood and providing a "link" coat between the stain and the topcoat. The sealer is then sanded and prepared for the topcoat application.

The final coating is a catalyzed, conversion varnishwhich is a carefully formulated combination of alkydand amino resins. After spray application the film iscured and cross links to form a superior thermosetcoating that possesses exceptional stain , moistureand chemical resistance, while retaining its clarity.

Hardware:Standard overlay door styles will have a 1/2” overlayconcealed hinge. The hinge is a 106 degree self-closing, adjustable hinge. Full overlay door styleswill have a 1 1/4” overlay concealed hinge. The hinge is a 106 degree self-closing, adjustablehinge.

Pulls and knobs are available in a variety of styles andare furnished at no charge, with each cabinetordered. If hardware is not wanted, a hardware credit of $4.00 list each can be requested at the timethe order is placed.

Integral Finger Rout-can be ordered in lieu of hard-ware. *IFR-BACK Door rout will be off-centered

WOOD CHARACTERISTICSAlderA fine-grained hardwood similar to Cherry, Birch, and Maple. Pale yellow (tan) to reddish brown in color. A soft, light wood with even texture and straight grain that accepts stain well. Characteristics include random sized tight knots and rays.BirchWhite Birch, medium hardwood, similar to Maple but not as consistent in color as Maple, good base for solid color finishes, accepts stain unevenly; mottles. Mottling is a blotchy appearance evident due to various densities in the wood. Not recommended for darker stains. Off white color, medium density, fine texture, straight grain. CherryDarkens with age at a very fast rate, pitch marks (worm holes), mineral streaks, medium hardwood, accepts stain well.Cherry is especially sensitive to light. Light will cause the wood to darken/redden significantly. Medium reddish brown color,medium density, fine texture, straight grain. Sap wood of up to 20% is standard on any cherry component.HickoryHardwood, mineral streaks, accepts stain evenly, known for its “wild” contrasting light and dark streaks. Cream color, hard density, fine texture, straight grain.OakHardwood, open grain, accepts stain well, will darken slightly with age, grain pattern very evident when a solid color finish isapplied. May vary in color from light to dark with possible shades of green.Quartersawn OakVery stable and has a flake figure running across the grain called a ray fleck which exhibits a beautiful grain pattern. Red BirchA strong fine-grained hardwood with reddish-brown color. Usually finished “Natural” to emphasize the reddish color and highlights in the grain. RusticSolid wood will have character marks such as large knots and wane. Other characteristics include: small pin knots, bird pecks,worm tracks, mineral stain, irregular figures in the grain, cracks that do not hurt the strength of the part, sap wood and cherrypitch marks. Warranty

Bertch Cabinet Mfg., Inc. Limited Lifetime Warranty

Bertch Cabinet Mfg., Inc. warrants its products to be free from defects in material orworkmanship for as long as they are owned by the original purchaser. Bertch Cabinet Mfg.,Inc., at their choice, may elect to repair or replace any Bertch product covered by thiswarranty.

This warranty does not apply where items have been improperly stored or improperly installed.This warranty does not cover the following: costs of removing warranted material or theinstallation of replacement material, natural variations and aging inherent in wood, normalwear and tear or damage/defects caused by mis-use, abuse, negligence or modification inany way. This warranty does not apply to products purchased without finish.

Bertch Cabinet Mfg., Inc. reserves the right to inspect claimed defective products. Noreturns, replacements or repairs may be made without prior written consent. Somereplacement parts may vary from those originally supplied and are subject to availability.

This warranty is the sole warranty of Bertch Cabinet Mfg., Inc. and in lieu of all otherwarranties, express implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular use. Labor charges for removal of or installation of warranted material as well as incidental or consequential damages are excluded. We do not assume for us anyother liability in connection with the sale of our product.

Special Door Considerations:The purchaser agrees to let doors that are warped 1/4” or less to hang for one season (Spring) before replacement is requested. Typically a door will return to its normal flat position once it is acclimated to temperature and humidity conditions. Prior to requesting a replacement for a warped door, please be sure the door has been installed properly.

Special Thermofoil Product Considerations:This warranty does not apply to any thermofoil products installed without the use of properlyinstalled heat shields, adjacent to appliances or fixtures, such as lighting that generates hightemperatures.

Special Oasis/SolSurf Considerations:This warranty shall not apply to damage from the following: Improper installation orfabrication, physical or chemical abuse, exposure to excessive heat or impropermaintenance including improper adhesive, caulk or grout.

To file a claim on this warranty contact your local authorized Bertch dealer.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or of incidental and consequentialdamages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply. In such case, the duration of any implied warranty shall bethe same as that of the expressed warranty as stated herein.
