Class Work
Create a public service announcement about the importance of keeping our water clean from pesticides and pollution. Your skit should be at least ten lines long, and your group will present it to the class. Think of it as a commercial. Refer to page 33 and 34 in your textbook for ideas.

Example: Please excuse this interruption for an important public service announcement. Do you really want to shower in last night’s garbage, or drink water filled with the dirt from the bottom of your shoe? Can you imagine going to the beach and swimming in water full of pesticides? Polluted water can be extremely dangerous to your health. Keep our water clean!
