Actitvites:

0730 0800 - Doa and greetings by the teachers of the English committee.- Singing.

- Students are split into groups of 5;

> Students give names to their groups (theme; car models)> Each group will appoint a group leader

> Each member will be assigned with a colour band to

wear.> Each group will be given the necessary materials for the

activity.

0800 0820 Activity 1TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH

Theme Health

- Students are given 10 minutes to look for 5 articles/reports on

health from the newspapers provided.- Groups will be given points based on the how fast they can find

the 5 articles. Points allocation will be as below:

1st group to hand in 5 articles/reports = 10 points

2nd group to hand in 5 articles/reports = 05 points3rd group to hand in 5 articles/reports = 02 points

Remaining groups = 01 point*Only the group member with the GREENarmband can hand in

the articles/reports.

- Using the 5 articles/reports groups are required to find 5 wordsthat they do not understand, look for their meanings and write

them down on the coloured paper provided.

- Groups will be given points based on the how fast they can findthe 5 words and their meanings. Points allocation will be as

below:

1st group to hand in 5 articles/reports = 10 points


Remaining groups = 01 point*Only the group member with theBLUEarmband can hand in the

articles/reports.

Theme People

- Groups need to find 10 pictures of sports people from the

sports section of the newspapers.- Groups must show the 10 pictures to the teachers.

- Describe the person in the pictures by assigning adjectives to

them.- Groups will be given points based on the how fast they can

complete the task and by the most number of correct adjectives

assigned. Points allocation will be as below:

1st group to hand in 5 articles/reports = 10 points2nd group to hand in 5 articles/reports = 05 points

3rd group to hand in 5 articles/reports = 02 points

Remaining groups = 01 point

Credit Cards- Groups will be given points based on the how fast they can
