Completing the steps necessary for certification by Scrum Alliance. Scrum Alliance can help you improve your Scrum skills and expertise throughout your career. As a member, you have access to a wide array of resources, networking opportunities, and educational programs, all focused on your application of Scrum. Scrum Alliance is committed to providing you ACE – Advocacy, Community, and Education – throughout your Scrum journey. Follow the steps below to complete your CSM test and become a certified member of Scrum Alliance. Log into your Scrum Alliance Account Once your instructor has provided Scrum Alliance with the appropriate information, you will receive a welcome email with instructions for logging into your Scrum Alliance account and accessing the CSM test site. Pass the CSM Test You will become a Certified ScrumMaster once you pass the CSM test. You have two opportunities within 90 days, after you receive your welcome email, to pass the test at no cost. After two attempts or 90 days, you will be charged $25 for each additional attempt. Payment is made online through our testing partner, test.com. The questions in the CSM test are based on the learning objectives established for this course at http://www.scrumalliance.org/resources/2747 . You can also access the content of the Agile Atlas at http:agileatlas.org . The Agile Atlas is a resource for Scrum and other relevant information you need as a Scrum practitioner. The test contains 35 multiple-choice questions and you must correctly answer 24 questions to pass. The test takes about an hour to complete. You can stop and restart as many times as needed. You can also skip, go back, and bookmark questions for later review. Review your bookmarked questions before submitting your test for scoring. When you click “submit” at the end, a warning message will alert you of any unanswered questions. Your test results will immediately appear on your computer. Complete Your Scrum Alliance Profile After you have passed the test, return to your Scrum Alliance profile to accept the License Agreement, complete your membership contact information, print your certificate, and complete your public profile. You can access your test details through a link next to your test score in your profile. This information is kept private for you. Your certification is valid for two years. You will then need to renew by meeting recertification guidelines. Your Scrum Alliance profile can be kept public to market your new certification and skills or can be made private. To manage these settings, access your dashboard by logging into your account and clicking on the link located at the top right corner of the screen. Then select the settings that best meet your career and community needs. Get Involved Explore the Scrum Alliance site. Become active in the Scrum Alliance social network. Sign up for a local user group. Register for the next Scrum Alliance Gathering®.
