Base Camp powered by Venture Sports is located in the Vista Bahn building at the top of Bridge Street a mere 13 steps from the snow and Vail’s newest gondola, Gondola 1. Every aspect of Base Camp is designed around maximizing your Vail skiing experience. Each morning you will be greeted by our ski valet professionals who will help put your boots on and place your skis and snowbaords directly onto the snow for you. At the end of a long day of ripping up Vail’s Back Bowls, just ski right back to our door, we will take your boots off your feet and place them on dryers over night, bring your skis in for overnight storage, and make sure all year gear is ready to go for you the next morning. Base Camp provides free storage and valet services for everyone who rents equipment with us. And our rental and demo fleet offers only the newest technology from Volkl, Kastle, Rossiglnol, K2, Salomon, Armada, Blizzard, Dynastar, Head, and more, all tuned to perfection in our state of the art Tune Kitchen.

The Avon Venture Sports shop is what we like to affectionately call “the mother ship”. This is our original store and is centrally located in the heart of the Vail Valley. Just a few feet off the main Avon roundabout, Venture Sports is the quickest, most convenient stop on the way to your place in Avon or Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, or Vail. On a typical day in the Avon store you will see equal numbers of visitors and locals dropping off tunes before heading to the post office or grocery store. We service and sell bikes year round and offer a complete selection of skis and boards for all ability levels and ages. All of our Rossignol, K2, Volkl, Kastle, Blizzard, Armada, Head, Salomon, and Dynastar demo skis are brand new for 2015-16 and our high performance package is only 1 season old. And no matter what package you are on, we guarantee it is freshly tuned before each rental

For Presidents day weekend reservations need to be made 2 days in advance for delivery. Call 970-949-0728 to schedule last minute deliveries for this holiday weekend.

No waiting in lines and no hassles, just your own private ski shop in the comfort of your room or home. All you have to do is shoot us your arrival date and time and Venture Sports ski delivery will show up with brand new equipment fitted exactly to your ability and tuned to perfection. When your ski vacation is over, just leave the gear and we will pick it up. Want to try different skis on different days? Not a problem, Venture Sports will gladly swap out your equipment for no additional charge.
