PROJECT ON “ BAIJUL PARIKH ”

PREPARED BY:MS. BARKHA MANRAL110210116062B.E (7TH I.T)

WHO IS THE CONTRIBUTOR ?“The one who gives

something or adds something which is better for the

society according to the law are said to be a contributor.

They are full of human values and effectiveness”.

My presentation includes one of the best contributor personality “ Ms. Baijul Parikh”. I was too obliged and overwhelmed talking to her and I felt as if I have met one of the best persons in my life.

Baijul Parikh is an mixture of every thing, she is now the professor in one of the famous institutes of India where students seek admissions in MBA i.e. “IIM AHMEDABAD”. She did a remarkable work in one of the famous clubs such as “Yuva Unstoppable”. The best of her is that she is the member of our family ,Government Engineering College, Bhavnagar. She is a student of our college.

I recently interacted with her when she visited Bhavnagar. It was probably the best time to think about this project. I selected her as my choice of contributor because I want to show everyone that what are the potentials of our institute. She is one of the best professors in the field of Information System and students seek attending her class. I could say she is the “combo” of every thing a designer, painter, teacher, social member and many more…

Family Background:

She was born as a cute little princess in a perfect family where she spread lots of happiness. She shared her childhood picture with her sister. My interaction with her was uplifted as…

Interactions went like this:

Me: Hello Mam ,I came from Government Engineering college Bhavnagar, I have got a task to interact with the contributor and know about them. Can I take your 10 minutes valuable time?Baijul mam: She was cherished when she heard the name of the college. She told it was a pleasure if she could spent time with me.

Me: A gentel smile arrived on my face, I

added Mam how many years of experience you have in the field of teaching?

Baijul mam: I started teaching students when I

was an undergraduate and continued further till many years. I have an experience about 7 years in this field.

Me: that is just amazing Mam! Seven years of span at the age of 26…Can I know the story behind your success.

Baijul mam: I would loved too. I would describe the story in just one word “DAD”. Having both the girl child he treated both of us as the best child of the world. He continuously motivated me during the part of my exams as well as taking the fruitful decisions of my life. He was with me till the stars ended to shine. I would add my mom and my sister too behind mind success because with them I would not lead such a position.

Me: I smiled a bit and said “love of adventure in father’s blood”. I added that since you are successful how do you take your work.Baijul mam : I take it as an a challenge and for me “work is my worship” and along with the journey I have to be perfect and firm in my decisions.

Me: according to you, what is your job satisfaction..?       (A) external satisfaction       (b) internal satisfaction       (c) (a) & (b) both.Baijul mam : according to me its both because presently I being the teacher get pleasure teaching students and making them achieve great heights and after all one does is “to satisfy their basic needs”.

Me: I have heard that you are the social contributor too, serving the society. Can you just elaborate how do you perform the activities.Baijulmam: Ya I am an active member of “Yuva unstoppable” and “Rotract club” where we serve society in terms of education, food, clothes, standard of living and many more so that they can compare themselves with the upcoming generation. I usually take them to Mcdonald's and picnics after my salary so that they could probably have fun and eat food which they can’t in their day to day schedule.

IIM Ahmadabad tour of picnic with the children of slum areas.

Me: what is your short term vision? And what is your long term vision?Baijul mam: My short term vision is to serve as the best teacher of my field i.e, information system and the long term vision is to serve the society till the last breath of my life…

Me: Mam, What is your contribution to organization and how do you relate it to the Society?Baijul mam: I worked hard throughout my journey and achieved lots of medals, and my salary doesn’t count until I do something for the society. I think that everyone of us should at least do something for our society to march your developing country towards the route of the developed one and I m happy and proud that I am doing it.

Completion line by me:

Mam, it was great an immense pleasure giving a droplet from that ocean and the valuable time. I would thank my professors for giving me such a task and my dream of visiting IIM Ahmedabad came true. Finally arriving there after external vivas . Thank you Mam for your building support.

THANK YOU!
