Fifty hours of Training program covered topics related to metrology, measuring instruments, different machine tools and their operations. During the training period, students tried their hands at preparing individual jobs on machines. The main motive of this training program was to improve students’ technical skills so that they could correlate the theory with the practicals while working on machines.

A training session was organized on Auto Cad for BIST/BIRT/BIRTS IV Sem ME Branch students from 2nd Jan. to 10th Jan. 2019. Auto CAD is the standard and most widely used design software used in engineering, architecture, interior design and construction industries. The topics covered in this session were related to the importance of layers & working with their properties, creation & insertion of blocks, creating a new layout, layout settings, generating mass property reports, working with the viewports dialog box, scaling viewports, copying an existing layout and creating 2D views from a solid model creating profiles etc.

50 hours of training program was organized on WordPress for BIST/BIRT/BIRTS IV Sem CSE, IT and MCA students from 2nd Jan. to 10th Jan. 2019. WordPress is, so far, the most popular open source Content Management System (CMS), used by approximately 75 million websites. WordPress is free to install, deploy, and upgrade. Total Station is an electronic/optical instrument used by land surveyors and civil engineers, either to record feature as in topographic surveying or to set out features such as roads, houses or boundaries. GIS is a system used to capture, design, manipulate, analyze, manage and present spatial or geographical data. GIS applications are tools that allow users to create interactive queries (user created searches), analyze spatial information, edit data in maps, & present the results of all these operations. It is attached to many operations and has many applications related to engineering, planning, management etc . For that reason, GIS and location intelligence applications can be a foundation for many location-enabled services that rely on analysis and visualization.

ARduIno WITh IoTSix days rigorous training session on ARDUINO with IOT was organized from 18th Feb to 25th Feb by BIST EC & EX Dept for the students of all semesters. Internet of Things is the inter-networking of physical devices, vehicles, buildings, and other items, embedded with

electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity that enable these objects to collect and exchange data. By learning the inter-connection and data exchange, one can become capable of creating its own IoT Networks with connected devices and can access it from anywhere in the world. The training helped the students capable enough of designing applications by integrating multidisciplinary concepts and in understanding the process of an Embedded industry. The crucial topics covered under the training session were basics of IOT and Embedded System, Interacting with Arduino, Coding own Arduino etc.

A training session was organized on Robotics & Hands on Project Development for BIST/BIRT/BIRTS IV & VI Sem EC & EX Branch students from 2nd Jan. to 10th Jan. 2019. Robotics technology influences every aspect of work and home. Engineering education is incomplete without hands-on Project Based Learning (PBL) where students apply their mind to solve problems in a logical manner.

The training modules were established on ‘Eyantra Robotics Program’ of IIT Bombay. Students gained understanding about the fundamentals of Robotics hardware and tried their hands on practice on software programming based on various modules of Robotics hardware like LCD interfacing, Motion control, Glowing Barograph led, beeping buzzer, external LED interfacing and masking functions etc.

Thus, in addition to features of C language, C++ also a highly portable language and is often the language of choice for multi-device, multi-platform app development. It is an object-oriented programming language and includes classes, inheritance, polymorphism, data abstraction and encapsulation. C++ allows exception handling, and function overloading which are not possible in C.
