▪ 9 faculties with 300 faculty members and other departments with 240 staff

members (front office and back office members).

The mission of the Office of Career and Placement Services (OCAPs) is to engage

students and graduates in the development and implementation of meaningful

educational and career goals consistent with their personal values, interests, and

abilities, as well as to help students and alumni to develop and set up their own

business and create an effective framework for a lifetime of active career

management based on a wide selection of professional activities and

services designed to allow students to complete your training; carried out

individually or in groups in order to increase your prospects of success in the

employment market.

Career Services works to increase the success of our diverse students and constituents

through career exploration, career planning, employment preparation, and job search skills.

As a conduit for campus partners, we F connections between our office, employers,

community, students, and alumni based on a wide range of events, resources, and guidance

in order to address the ever-changing career and economic developments of today and

beyond, as well as to help our students and alumni at any point in their career.

Placement Services is consistently involved in linking the University's educational

offering with the best opportunities in the labour market through a solid information

service for its students and graduates and a personalized guidance service aimed at

promoting cooperation between the University and companies and accomplished, in part,

through meetings and events in order to assist in career related matters.

❑ Every year the University organizes Career Days, an event entirely devoted

to career guidance with the participations of leading banks and enterprises

(45), publication of jobs (1,200) and internships (800) for students.

❑ The enthusiasm of students and graduates ensures that the event is a

success. The initiative was started to provide support for young people

looking for employment and for businesses that are constantly looking for

individuals with specialized and qualified professional backgrounds.

❑ During Career Days, companies and young people looking for employment

meet in a friendly and informal setting to exchange CV/résumés and useful

contacts, discuss professional career opportunities and thus lay the

groundwork for future meetings and partnership opportunities.

❑ Number of Participations is 10,000, 70% applications and 30% students are interviewed by Enterprise and 10% accepted students.

❑ 77% of graduates accepted employment after graduation.

– 11% are interviewing/seeking employment

– 10% are attending graduate programs

– 3% have a postgraduate internship or coop

❑ 70% of graduates reported staying in Ho Chi Minh City for work

❑ US$500 Median Salary

❑ 5% of graduates are registered with Career Services Office and felt that Career Services assisted with career development and job search.

❑ 70% of graduates would recommend Career Services to a friend.
