Best known for playing Piper Chapman’s eccentric, overbearing sister-in-law Neri Feldman on Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black, Tracee Chimo earned her bachelor of fine arts (BFA) from Salem State in 2001.

Rich Miner co-founded Android, and joined Google when they acquired the mobile platform company. He now leads the Google Ventures’ East Coast investment team, looking for bright and innovative startups to invest in. Miner received his BS, MS and PhD from UMass Lowell.

Chevenee Reavis, Water.org

As a dual enrollment student, Chevenee Reavis earned an associate’s degree in business administration and her high school diploma at Mt. Wachusett, an experience she calls “a pivotal opportunity in her life.” She is now Director of Strategic Initiatives and Global Advocacy for Water.org, an organization co-founded by actor Matt Damon that provides access to safe water and sanitation throughout Africa, South Asia and Central America.

Sheri McCoy started as a scientist in research and devel-opment at Johnson & Johnson. During her 30-year career there, she worked her way up to worldwide chairman of the Pharmaceutical Group and head of J&J’s Consumer business. She is now CEO of Avon and ranks #27 on Fortune Magazine’s “50 Most Powerful Women in Business.”

Campus Highlight— Massachusetts College of Art & Design

The “Tree House” Residence Hall

Inspired by Gustav Klimt’s 1909 Tree of Life painting, the 20-story “Tree House” Residence Hall was conceived with the collaborative input of students, faculty and the neighboring community. The building houses primarily first-year and sophomore students and includes a café, health center, kitchen, game room, fitness center and 17 floors of suites with a lounge and workrooms.
