Avon Beauty Center Expands to Offer Free Makeovers

JOHNSON CITY, TN (Mar. 16, 2011)–After opening the doors just six months ago, Avon Beauty Center is now relocating and expanding to offer more services for shoppers.

First on the slate of new services are free makeovers by a professional makeup artist. Using a makeup expert is extremely beneficial in choosing the right cosmetics, colors and skin care for your needs. “Our makeup specialist is from Atlanta where she worked with local and national models and photographers in television and advertising,” said Paula Dukes, owner. “She has extensive experience working with all skin tones, skin types and ages.” Available by appointment with a $10 purchase, the makeovers are a fun way to try new products or prepare for special occasions such as weddings and proms.

Product color matching is another service that the store offers. The infinite variety of available cosmetic shades makes matching colors from one manufacture to another easy. However, there are situations when matching shades can be difficult. Dukes said that there is an increase in people switching to Avon products from higher priced brands. “Customers want to move to Avon products due to the excellent value as well as product integrity and performance. Our color matching service enables people to change to the Avon brand with confidence.”

Avon Beauty Center tripled its floor space by relocating to 4411 N. Roan Street, Suite 21, which is the front side of the shopping center just opposite Boones Creek Middle School. Dukes said the extra space allows the store to offer more exclusive and individualized services. “We listen to our customers and add new services and products based on their feedback.” Plans are underway for additional product lines and services at Avon Beauty Center and will be announced as arrangements are finalized.

The new location Grand Opening will be held Mar. 21 through Mar. 26. All customers during grand opening week receive a free gift with their purchase plus are entered for grand prize drawing of an Avon gift certificate valued at $125.
