This 2-day course provides the participant with the skills required to develop a system configuration and a program using Schneider Electric UNITY Software. The participant will configure a Quantum Series PLC using UNITY, set up a project and learn how to use the Function Block, Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, Instruction List, and Sequential Function Chart IEC Editors. Hands-on exercises will enhance the participant skill level of where to use the various IEC editors.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:• Define the different programming languages available within UNITY software• Configure the UNITY system preferences• Determine which executive file is correct for a given controller• Load the appropriate executive file into the controller using the Loader software• Describe the Scan Cycle of the controller when executing an IEC Project.

This course is taught using the latest version of the TwidoSoft or Twido Suite programming package.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:• Evaluate an application for a programmable controller• Select, connect and configure the appropriate TWIDO controller for a given application• Configure the controller of choice for a program• Write, test, debug and optimize a TwidoSoft plc program using basic programming functions and arithmetic to control several real world applications• Create, download, verify and document the program

ZELIO SMART RELAYTuition $275.00 per personInstructor-led course. This 1/2-day course provides the participant with the skills required to develop a system configuration and a program on the ZELIO Programmable Relay. The ZELIO is Schneider Electric’s solution for very small automation projects and replacement of hardwired relay and timer control systems. Programming techniques include ladder logic programming functions using discrete inputs and outputs, analog inputs, timers and counters. The class will also introduce Function Block Programming. The course is taught using the latest version of ZelioSoft software and the built in function keys on the Zelio.
