The MassTrak OASPS is a single vendor supported, hardware and software inclusive

sample preparation system for LC-MS. The system features all the power of an automated

liquid handling system with less complexity or operating expertise required compared

to typical standalone robotic systems.

This highly flexible system for SPE procedures includes all the automation capabilities

(liquid pipetting, tube to plate liquid transfer, plate manipulation, barcode scanning,

vacuum manifold, and plate shaking) required to perform SPE on samples from either

simple or complex matrices with a minimum of manual intervention.

Its unique software package includes a pre-written SPE pipetting script and file converter

software to facilitate quick and effective deployment of the system with a minimum of

expertise. In addition to automating sample processing to improve consistency, this

system makes sample data transfers seamless to minimize sample processing and data

transfer errors all too common with manual sample preparation.

4.1 Software.

The ACQUITY UPLC Online SPE Manager (OSM) is a unique automated sample preparation

module designed either for routine operations and/or as an SPE method development tool.

The system is an easily integrated module for UPLC®-based systems that offers a more

efficient workflow for than slower and older, less consistent column based online SPE

systems. An excellent choice for almost any laboratory performing LC-MS analyses,

the ACQUITY UPLC OSM is the pinnacle of automation and integration of sample prep

with LC-MS.

The ACQUITY UPLC OSM’s unique design resolves many of the direct resource utilization

and method expertise issues that have prevented many laboratories from including

effective sample prep techniques in their LC-MS analysis workflows. Truly a walk away

system, it can transform LC-MS analysis into an around the clock operation to allow users

to get the most performance and productivity from their LC-MS systems.

Applicable to a wide variety of LC-MS applications, the ACQUITY UPLC OSM is excellent
