“Ok, hereʼs what weʼre gonna do. Weʼre gonna go to my office, set up the projector, and youʼre

going to give us your presentation.” These are the words I heard as I munched on my

chimichanga at Habaneros. I was there to share with a dear family I have grown to love. Well, I

did go to their office and share my story and they have decided to become part of my

partnership team! I have been so encouraged by the many encounters such as this one that I

have had. Needless to say, the support raising process has officially started and I have loved it.

Support Raising in Full Swing 

Back from HondurasI have just returned from a six-day stay with the team down in La Ceiba. It was a very productive time. Not

only did I get to participate in construction projects, Bible Club and medical clinic in the rural community of

Armenia Bonito, but I also had some very productive meetings with some key people in La Ceiba.

•I met with a man named Misael who was a street child himself, and now owns a successful business. He is

very interested in helping out with our ministry to street children.

•I visited two different childrenʼs homes, one in Armenia Bonito, and another about an hour outside of

town. Both were very informative and showed me different ways La Ceibaʼs at-risk children are being

served.

•I met with the director of the governmental agency, called INFA, that serves Hondurasʼ at-risk children.

INFA could be compared to what we know as DHR. I got to walk around the facility and visit the different

programs they have going on there. They will be instrumental for us as we get started.

• the beginning of construction of the drop-in center in downtown La Ceiba. We are waiting for some

of the paperwork to come through, so please pray that that will happen soon.

• God’s provision of additional people to serve the street children of La Ceiba with me.

• the sale of my house and car.

• the Pettengills (team leaders) and the rest of the team as the

Pettengills will be leaving for home ministry assignment in
