SOUTHEAST MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHY www.smponline.org Continues through Sept. 5 LYONIA GALLERY: Florida Vernacular Rick Lang is a documentary photographer and educator whose photographic work reflects his interest in the history and culture of the American South. This exhibition presents a grouping of images of vernacular and often simple signs and buildings from many different parts of Florida. These images demonstrate Lang's commitment to documenting the signs and symbols used by everyday citizens to make their voice and opinions public. The Southeast Museum of Photography's new Lyonia Gallery presents exhibitions and programs related to the environment, land-use, local history and regional culture in an exhibition space in Volusia County Government's new LYONIA ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER. Eligible individuals can play a round of golf for only $12 (inclusive of tax and cart rental) at Pelican Bay Country Club located at 350 Pelican Bay Drive, Daytona Beach. For those who'd like additional tutoring or are new to the game, lessons with golf pro, Doug Feldman also will be offered on Thursdays at Pelican Bay Country Club. Two six-week sessions will be offered. The first session begins Thursday, June 3 and a second session will be offered mid-July. The cost per session is $100 per student.
