“In this exhibit you are going to view paintings that are experiments I have concocted to try and make as many marks as I can through different mediums to create texture without spending time developing the painting itself. I have mainly used three tools to create these pieces: Maackii ink; Acrylics; And spray paint. You

may see patterns within the pieces which are unintentional and results of my tests with these three main utensils at my disposal.”

“Along with my three main techniques I have also used a mixture of bases to test them on, such as canvas, wood, and oak paper to see how the base would wear

and bruise with the ink, acrylic and spray paints.”
